The plot line in the article made sense to me.

I liked Buffy too - stupid or not. I also liked Angel. :)

That's a different issue.

They could introduce a new character in the series using all of the above, and then spin off.

There should be a sarcasm emoticon. Some people have a hard time viewing women being portrayed as strong and NOT nurturing.

Why? Does it matter? As far a Thorine is concerned this is not the first time this has happened as others have pointed out, (Superwoman and Supergirl for instance). Also, I kind of like watching women "fight" as it were. An example took place in 300: Rise of an Empire. First time I've seen boobies swung in anger!

I have large hands and I carry/shoot a M&P 40c just fine. I also once had a 9c that I could shoot well. I just use the magazine extensions. S&W sent me extensions for both weapons free of charge.

Spicy Burger Sends Two British Men to Hospital

I've heard of Prince's Hot Chicken but haven't been there. I went to Hot Stuff at Bell & Blue Hole today at lunch. I had their XXHot which is good, but it's certainly talking to me now. I guess I'm like JTMaze in that as I get older I become less tolerant. -

True that. Now I'm thinking Hot Chicken for lunch today! :) -
http://news.msn.com/us/missouri-governor-vetoes-bill-allowing-schools-to-designate-armed-officers I am so glad that I moved out of Missourl 16.5 years ago. It seems that the Governor's Mansion needs a colon cleanse.

There's a difference between "man-test hot" and tasty-hot. I like hot food, but it's stupid to just see who can take the hottest stuff that you can concoct. -
Nor did they envision seizure of property without due process, judges using contempt of court to violate free speech, restriction of the 2nd, etc.

Well, this excuse for not going to Target blew-up in my face; my wife dragged me to Walmart instead! :wall:

Most of their vision is stated in the Constitution. I don't think that they envisioned judges being more concerned with revenue-collection than justice. I don't think they envisioned judicial or prosecutorial misconduct. I don't think that they envisioned bankrupting an innocent person to preserve a conviction rate. But I also don't think that they envisioned letting criminals walk on because of the lack of a Miranda Warning being given.

CMMG...Why, oh, why did I listen to Outpost Armory?
E4 No More replied to E4 No More's topic in Long Guns
When it didn't fire the second round I took it apart and used a key to move the firing pin forward to where it would be with the hammer at rest. It wasn't even close to the hole. You could be right about something in the channel that interferred with it's forward movement when struck. I dunno. All I care about is that it works now. -
It's kind of hard to argue with the Marine Corps method of shooting. As a quick tip I'll say that the closer the weapon is to your body, and the lower it is to the ground, the more stable it is. If you are going to shoot off-hand then hold the rifle across your body as much as possible using the magazine to stabilize it in the bend of your arm. That takes a little contortion, but I hit the bull every time.

MRE's laced with sand for me. :(

Well, Chip, I'd say that what happens in New Zealand's legal system is irrelevant to what happens here just as is what happens in Russia's legal system. Compared to places like China we have a great justice system, but isn't that just like saying, "At least we aren't as screwed up as they are?" And justice is not limited only to the criminal system. There are the civil courts and in some states where traffic infractions are not "criminal" unlike how Tennessee does it if I understand their system correctly, (no, I don't claim to be an expert; I just think I saw something indicating that a traffic infraction was actually a misdemeanor in Tennessee). I just think that we are far from what our Founding Fathers envisioned having used all sorts of rationale to justify getting there.

I'll be danged, it went "bang" when I put the old pin and spring back into the rifle! I notice that the firing pin spring tends to hang up on the front end of the firing pin. Perhaps it caught that lip when they assembled it? But wouldn't they test fire it before shipping it? I was using HST factory ammo, so I guess it is possible that the chamber isn't cut right, but then again that would have been caught on a test fire? I find it hard to believe that it would fail to fire twice in a row with factory ammunition. I guess tomorrow I take it out to my friend's house and see if it works with the full cartridge in it. -
Thanks, I just threw up a little in my mouth. :(

UPDATE: I received the new firing pin and a new spring from CMMG today. Interesting that it's the same length as the one it replaced, but I indeed replaced both in the rifle. SInce I know I won't get out to the "range" soon, I took a primed brass and loaded it into the rifle. It indeed went "bang" when I pulled the stick, so that ought to satisfy people like Orient Express. -
I played Fall Creek Falls in mid-June, and the fairway on 9, (I think that's the one that runs along the road into the course), is absolutely terrible. Cart path only, and you're lucky if your ball stops on any grass.

I love to hack at it, but I don't have the time or inclination to dedicate to becoming good at it. I measure success by the number of balls I lose and the number of times my ball is used during best ball play. I played frequently when I was a cop working the evening shift. Back then I could drive the ball 300 yards in the air, but today after 2 back surgeries and a couple of decades later I'm lucky to get 300 on the ground. I have a set of Taylor Made Burners and a Cleveland wedge, but I just won a Nike hybrid a couple of weeks ago that I've yet to try.
