  1. Alexandria city leaders consider handgun ban at county fair - WSMV Channel 4 - Nashville, TN News, Weather and Sports
  2. Here's an idea: Don't commit a felony to begin with and you won't have those problems. Duh!
  3. With the exception of the grill it's a VERY nice truck. I thought about getting one after the larger engine came out, but decided to go with a Lariat since I'm not likely to go off-roading.
  4. I sent them an email around 12:30 PM of the day you posted. I started the email before you posted at 12:33. It's probably a coincidence, but I wouldn't want bad press circulating around gun sites if I were in the gun business.
  5. Interesting that after I sent them a link to this thread and told them in a nutshell that things like this get around fast and cost them business that they called you back to set it straight. Coincidence?
  6. As Oh Shoot said: poor reporting
  7. I like the fact that it's making bigger banks think about what they are doing.
  8. In knew that video wasn't going to go well the first time that he was referring to the guy in the back seat as something other than "sir". I believe calling someone "Hoss" is never recommended as an expression of professional conduct.
  9. My wife thought I didn't work when I was at home until she took a day off and saw what I do. She changed her tune real quick.
  10. I hear ya! I WFH 2 days a week and my productivity is much higher on those days than the other 3. I tend to sign on earlier and sign off later than required because I don't have to fight traffic. I eat at my desk most of the time. I occasionally go out to the Smyrna bowling alley to bowl a few games for $1 each to get away from work. No way to do that from the office in just an hour. I find it odd that the boss doesn't have me working from home all 5 days per week.
  11. Semper Fi, SSgt Reckless!
  12. Her stock has gone up in my book.
  13. I prefer to stay out of that armpit state all together. When I take the wife back home to Kansas City to visit her family I get off I-24 and take the back highways into Missouri.
  14. And that isn't far from the ville either!
  15. Would a Moderator please correct my typo in the heading? I can't believe that I missed that.
  16. That is great!
  17. newtondailynews.com | A foot above Makes you feel bad about EVER uttering a complaint.
  18. I could not care less about what any pseudointellectual blow-hard thinks about me. Nice try though.
  19. Exactly! The man's color had absolutely nothing to do with neither his heroism nor medal, but Leroy felt it was necessary to point it out twice. Then he has the audacity to feign offense to another's reaction in the pompous manner with which he is known by claiming to be speaking in the vernacular of the, “…old british empire…,” [sic] of which he is not a subject. What a joke! Perhaps he needs to put down the thesaurus and pay attention to what he’s saying to avoid misunderstandings?
  20. Have you considered the possibility that he got this particular award because he was not wounded while performing this heroic deed, or that it is because there were no, (or not enough), witnesses to the deed? There are many soldiers who deserved the CMH, IMO, yet did not get it for reasons such as these. Now if one could produce anything other than sheer speculation that he got a lesser award because of the color of his skin then I'd be outraged as well: however, such is not the case here. In fact, (and I thought about my earlier post for many hours before posting), the OP sounds racist in and of itself, and that is what prompted my remarks. Clearly, I am not the only one who thought this, and only Leroy knows the truth.
  21. I'd like to know what his color has to do with your post that you mention it twice. As far as him being little is concerned I've always believed that it ain't the size of the dog in the fight; it's the size of the fight in the dog.
  22. "First do no harm"?? The number one cause of death is from iatrogenesis. How do you think the saying "You aren't a doctor until you've killed someone" came about?
