I had planned on hitting the IDPA match today...but ended up cleaning the kitchen and bathroom, running to home depot to buy another weed eater and using said weed eater. All I ask for is two Sundays a month....they always seem to get clogged up with other crap.

I know in the Nashville area Guns and Leather as well as Franklin Gun shop has at least one each ACR in stock. I stopped by Franklin today...for the $$$$$$ I'd buy a LWRC or a SCAR.

We don't allow students to use lasers in our class. You need to learn the proper sight picture first....then move onto lasers. What happens when you have to use your pistol in the worst possible way and the batteries are dead, it won't turn on...they're a clod of muck on the lens...whatever. Sight picture, trigger control...etc. Then worry about the gizmos

I don't have kids...so I'll wait for them to come to me. If I had kids....I'd have to re think a bunch of things, like the plan to send a wall of lead down the hallway if there's a target.

PM TPS Robocop...he is an FFL in the Hermitage area. There is also The Relaoders Bench in Mt Juliet. There's another one in the strip mall where Hermitage lanes is...inside a martial arts school. I do not know what any of them charge for xfers

call around to some of the local trophy shops. I had a local shop here in Nashville do it for cheap. Did a good job...quick turn around and wasn't scared by the EBRness of a stripped lower.

Do the batteries rattle? How do you keep the batteries seperated in the tube so they don't make contact...or is that much ado about nothing.

I believe Reloaders Bench in Mt Juliet has a slightly used one for less than that. They also have one of the new LWRC REPRs for you to drool over. I had a SASS...loved everything about it except the weight. Hell I'm not sure but the SASS @ Reloaders might be my old one.
