I would like to see if there is anyone around middle tn that could help learning ham radio. I have several baofeng and have only been able to pick up locale traffic like ems or sheriff. I have never been able to pick up anyone else. I have tried listening to repeaters but no luck. I have not taken my test for my licence yet but i am studying for it.

To me the ruger feels like a real guy and the savage has a toy feel to it. Also. I believe the fit and finish is better on the ruger. Plus it takes 10 22 mags so you can up size if needed.

Wondering of anyone has had any experience with lead free primers. Anything advice or suggestions for reloading with them? Does anyone carry them in stock around Nashville/ middle tn area?

I used a Aero precision upper in one of my builds. I had to tap the barrel in with a rubber mallet. Aero also is a OEM suppler for alot of big name company now.

Is the trigger not resetting? I have had this issue turned out I had the hammer or trigger spring on backwards. If you fire then can push the trigger forward to reset one of the springs is on backwards. Sent from my LG-H910 using Tapatalk

Looking to build or possibly buy a 9mm carbine. My question are should i build a 9mm AR? (Do i go with dedicated receiver or receiver block? Do i go with Glock or Colt mags?) Or should i look else where like a MechTech conversion for Glock or a Kaltec s2000? Is there any other options out there that i might be over looking?

I believe it is cause by thick brass check the head stamp on the and see if there all the same . Had this happen on some 300 black out brass I converted the weird thing is it passed my chamber check gauge but wouldn't chamber in my rifle turned out it was only foreign brass that did it. What shops around nashville area have a large optic selection? I'm looking for a 1x4 or 1x6 for a AR. Have went to bass pro and academy only to found 3. Looking for a Leopold vxr want to check it out before buying one. I just bought a vortex crossfire 2 1x4 off of optic planet. I revived the optic and turn it on the highest setting and not only can you not set the illumation in brite sunlight. If you get in a darker area with the scope on the highest setting there is a red tint across the entire lens. So I called vortex and they said it was normal and to turn down the britness.
