  1. Thanks for the evaluations. I agree about the S&W's & Ruger's, but I wonder why you won't work on a Colt???
  2. +1 I would think the gas port is clogged.
  3. I've carried an Ultra CDP II for about 3 yrs. and love it. If you want a Pro CDP II, Vol. Ord. in Cleveland and Sportsmans Whse in Chatt. both had one on Thursday.
  4. Life member. One of the best things about it is that it almost totally stopped the solitations that used to come all the time. Now I just send them some money for ILA. Probably need to look at upgrading as soon as the economy improves.
  5. A lot of my .45 tends to expire in just a few weeks.
  6. I remember it! Wasn't downtown though, it was at The Prado. I-285 @ Roswell Rd. This was the center where the original (to Atl.) TGI Fridays was. I didn't go there often. Usually went to Penrod's @ Northlake. This was so long ago that I drank Dewar's scotch on the rocks for $1.75 and they were 2 for 1.
  7. + 100 My "social life" changed a lot after about '84. But for about 12-15 yrs before that, Atlanta was the greatest place in the world to be single.
  8. +1, but it could be a lot of fun. Seriously, A-1 zoning gives you a lot of flexibilty as to what type business you can operate. Especially if it relates anything agricultural. Good luck. Let us know how it goes and what the business is.
  9. Georgia World Congress Center is 1.4 million s/f. It's not popular for S.H.O.T. because it's not Las Vegas or Orlando. Don't look for the show to be in Nashville anytime soon.
  10. I remember the SHOT show being in Atlanta around '88 or '89. They changed to warmer January cities not long after that.
  11. And a we-tote-the-note used car lot out front, plus sell a little meth around back.
  12. Usually 6 -10 shooters there. I've never had a problem getting a pistol bay by myself. Never seen more than 2 or 3 rifle shooters at a time on the rifle ranges.
  13. 1) Hamilton Place Blvd. at late great Circuit City location. Tore down C.C. and building new store. 2) Out Hwy 153, I think.
  14. As of 11:40 est 999 have signed on. probably make it past 1000. Anybody know if that has been achieved previously??? I know I haven't seen it.
  15. That means there are 9 slackers who kept us from reaching 1000. I don't think I've ever seen that many sign ons before. Also probably has something to do with occasional slow loading of threads.
  16. I see you got by Skip's. Beautiful little carry.
  17. If someone read that all the way thru, could you please give me the Cliff's Notes version.

    gotta be said

Actually, I remember 2400 baud! One of my first upgrades was to 9600 baud. Ah! The good old days.

    gotta be said

I haven't ever sold anything on TGO, just bought a couple. Actually, that seems to be the way most of my firearm transactions go. I became a benefactor because I realize nothing is totally free and <$3 a month seems like cheap entertainment to me.

    Savage dealers

Sportsman's Warehouse had some before Christmas. I'll try to look next time I'm in there.
  21. +1 I'm thinking plastic started showing up around 1960.
