1. Sheriff Guy Buck from McNairy County.   Now there's some history in that county, and the sheriff's have cool names also.
2.   Well Haslam was an anti-gun Mayor, a Bloomberg toadie but since he represents on the entire state of Tennessee as Governor he wouldn't dare EO an anti-gun policy. Write him an insist he EO's some things we are wanting like, remove the criminal penalty for carrying past a sign, require the business to tell you to leave first. That's a starter but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for him to do that. I would however love to hear the liberals scream and yell, "you don't have the authority to do that with an EO."
3.   Well crap, I need to take it down then.
4.   Well i've got a 91/30 and a Polish M44, the Polish doesn't have matching serial numbers but by far are the nicest made Mosins. One reason they were popular because they are comparable to .308 in power and cheap, rifle and ammo. My nephew has quite a few, Finnish models, Dragoon, Westinghouse, M39 Chinese and a M44 Russian along with a few more.
5.   I still have all mine, thing is, prohibiting private sales could only apply to new guns bought after the law went into effect. It's impossible to track the current 300+million guns bought before any such law, no way to prove "when" you may have sold a gun unless, the gubment hires a few new employees to go door to door like the census workers, to 80+million gun owners with some federal gun registration papers to register all the current existing firearms. So the federal gun registration worker shows up at your door with their little clipboard and demands you to tell them all the guns you have and serial numbers. Well, I have a F@$% You model 666 and a Screw You model 999 and a Go F Yourself Model 000, serial number #0U812. BoBo may try an EO to make his toadies and Obamabots feel good, like he actually did something.
6.   Something we were all aware of for a long time, liberal socialist gun control freaks have always wished to disarm everyone in America for a long time. I had to shake my head in disbelief at how some people are stupid/naive enough to actually think Obama doesn't want to take all our guns away, he wants all our guns like Hillary, Bloomberg, Schumer, Feinstein, Pelosie and probably a big list of RINO's although many RINO's wont dare go against the NRA unless they are elected in a liberal state. Something we are all aware of also, it's always been really about people control so the only thing that surprises me is that there is a gun/people control group that was honest enough to admit what they have really wanted for a long time. So when a group says we want to take away all your guns, the only answer is, yea, we know that but you can't have them.
7.   I remember when I was a little kid my dad had a Lee Enfield, surplus from WW2 he had bought at Western Auto for $15. in 1952. I remember it being about a foot taller than I was at the time, he sold it to a friend of his around 1968 for $30 he said. He also had a Luger for a short time, he never captured one in WW2 but bought one off a fellow GI for a little of nothing. A couple of guns that fall into that, "wish he had kept them" catagory. You just don't think about it at the time like years ago when I sold my Stainless Steel 6" barrel 1980ish Colt Python. Excuse me, I have to stand up so I can kick my own ass again for that.
8.   Who knows, that Mosin may be worth $142 thirty years from now.  :)
9.   Like a Japanese Nambu or a WW2 Liberator, pieces of cheap junk then are highly sought after today.
10.   Hope your dad is okay and they caught it early, they can treat many now with stints and meds with no damage, the patient can return to their normal activities in a short time.
11.   Fell 12 feet off at embankment at Turnbull Creek in Kingston Springs, tried to break some rocks with my face. The rocks won.
12. Bad day in 86. Actually this was the 2nd day which wasn't as bad because I had Percocet for breakfast.
13.   To some that would be a far beyond a bad day, we all have had them when a loved one dies or seriously injured. Now my bad day that Obama wins was a bad day for most of the country, that day has lasted 7 years now. There are degrees of bad days like, sucky day, bad day, horrible day and tragic day.
14. Just show up at the door in this costume and make bets to see which one gets to the car first. Then again, those AT&T salesmen will probably start bowing down to you.
15.   I'll have to "educate" them about what the sign means then. I've avoided being downright nasty with them however last time, and that was the 2nd time I did let them know I didn't appreciate them not respecting my hint that they leave. Next time if any will be the third strike, not going to stick my Stoeger side x side in their face and get arrested but my neighbor will probably hear some foul language and he lives about 200 yards from me. I wouldn't do it but it's a fun day dream to show some pesky salesman the business end of a 12 gauge SxS. My go to gun is an 870 but I have always loved a cool SxS, 2 big cannons in your face has some psychological aspect to it, probably just a movie myth.
16.   I hope the SOB does go out of business, he would deserve it. He just doesn't like the shows taking business away from him.
17. It's for those pesky AT&T salespeople who just wont take "NO" for an answer, or no and go away. Really they are turning me off on AT&T by their strong arm sales tactics making me a lot less likely to think about ever going to them in the future no matter how mad I get with Comcast. I know it holds no weight like a No Trespassing sign but at least I can and will get nasty next time and ask if they are literate. 18. Worst day ever.
19. It's because of southern attitude.
20. Only time I ever drew my handgun was on a dog, I didn't shoot it because it was on a chain I didn't see at first but it was vicious and after me, I had walked around this persons house on a service call, it was her neighbors dog, I didn't see the dog until it was in full charge, I had my Kimber then and had it drawn, thumb safety off, finger on the trigger and front site on the dog just as the chain caught flipping the dog on it's back. The second to the last thing I want to do is have to shoot a dog, the last thing I want to do is get mauled by a dog. I hate seeing someone chaining a dog to a tree all their life, I believe that makes them mean and is cruel, the last dog I had was a 70lb chow/shepard mix house dog. I made sure she had large fenced in yard to roam around plus she got a lot of attention being in the house most of the time. In one way I was glad that incident happened, i'm glad I didn't have to kill the dog and hated to see it chained up but it was a real test of my reaction with fear and adrenalin involved. I say I passed it.
21.   That's all some of us dirty old men can do nowadays, just look and enjoy. Don't take that away from us.  :)
22. So, anyone up for a F@$# OBAMA GUN SWAP right after he issues the order?
23.   Well yea, that was pretty stupid for him to mention that, i'm not going to execute someone, if they are down and I can see their hands they aren't a threat anymore. I remember the pharmacist in Oklahoma who shot the armed robber on camera, left the scene for a minute, came back and shot him again on the floor. I think he was arrested for murder. Unless the robber was getting back up with a gun in hand he did a stupid thing, now I believe you couldn't see what the robber was doing on the tape. I guess it's a good idea to kick any weapon away from the down perp if you can.
24.   Unless there's pretty obvious evidence that the homeowner knew the threat was over it would/should be hard for a prosecutor to prove the home owner acted improperly. They were not there and didn't have to go through the fear the home owner did. Even a shot in the back as far as the homeowner is concerned is still stopping a potential threat. One thing there's no meter for is the amount of fear a home owner has for their life. With their back turned they can very easily turn back around with a gun in their hands.
