  1. I am using a 185 grain LSWC boolit. Anybody got any good loads for this. Powders, etc? Thanks
  2. last time I looked at a REAL young one and smiled she called me a pervy....
  3. told the wife the other day she didn't have to worry about me getting a young girlfriend cause I couldn't keep up with her..... I suddenly realize I am closer to 60 now than I was when I was 25....... And Mike, were you on the Ark? If not, how did you survive??
  4. it appears the "Colt" part has rubbed off..... must have been a cheap knock off.....but as long as it loads rounds into the chamber :-\
  5. actually they moved and someone else took the spot of Clinton Hwy, I've been told not to waste your time at the new place on Central Ave.......btw, how was skittles? didn't chit himself again did he? As for the gun show, Springfield XD40 subcompact - $415.00??? Dang, my daughter was with me and told me to "put the gun down"....just like her mother:p. Georgia Arms also go some on my $$$, bought some Lee dies for the .45 ACP and another magazine for the .45 ACP....walked and walked and walked....
  6. i'm going sunday, most likely around 10ish or so. need some reloading supplies and maybe some 7.62 x 54 ammo for the newly acquired Mosin 91/30!! Anyone want to meet up at the front a stroll together!!
  7. there is a place when you sell your item to include a handling fee. This will automatically be added to the shipping charges. You most likely will know what price the item will sell for so go ahead and include a # for just that. I always, regardless of item, charge a $2 s/h fee. Its for the box, tape, peanut bubble, etc.......As for the tax, eBay is like a giant garage sale. If you were to sell those items in your front yard, would you charge tax on them. Unless you have purchased these items yourself without paying sales tax on them, then you would not be required to collect sales tax.
  8. since its for the rest of time, beer/soda dehydrates you, so I would have to stick with water as well. But its so boring.....
  9. hope to get there for some reloading stuff, need some boolits, powder, maybe some .45 ACP Lee dies, who knows.
  10. FYI - let them crawl up into their little hole and squirt some WD40 into it, kills them instantly......
  11. I want one!!!!
  12. I ask a LEO the question about wearing an empty holster in a gun free zone and the reply was expect some s**t from the sheeple but there's nothing against the law there. You might call Mike Hamilton and ask his opinion about that. Oh wait, he has made his stance quite clear.....that's right, he's head of the idiot squad I forgot. Wear your holster proud and stay calm/collected.
  13. #1 statement: "The key to freedom is the ability to defend yourself". Gawd I love the Swiss....
  14. well you were right, it is very simple to disassemble/assemble. have it cleaned for the most part, just a few more parts to polish off. then.....I will post pixs. Mine was dated 1933 and I have a link to all the keymarks for my research enjoyment. The other one I purchased for future son-in-law was dated 1928 - guess that means his is 5 yrs older than mine (hey mom, all that money you spent of math lessons did pay off!!!). Both are extremely nice rifles. The bolt did fall apart before my eyes, but my mechanical aptitude was good enough to get it back together after about 15 minutes or so. These are off the charts in the KEWL catagory....
  15. so that means there will be a live band????? I'm going for sure now!!! See if you can book "three blind mutha's" or two dog night (spin off of three dog night), or even better yet marshal andy and the lonesome trail riders (or something like it)....
  16. you need to get a new camera but you are too busy spending your cash on firearms! Good choice....camera can wait.
  17. big write up in the Knoxville News Sentinel today, I am leery of these articles especially since they are being referred to as anti-government groups. Seems they are citizens who want to take back the government.....hummmm, if we can call them terrorist then we can raid their homes, take their firearms, put them in jail, and make every one who takes this trash subject to the same fate. All their info was taken from "chatter" they received. Guess what? That chatter comes from forums like this and others like it, sooooo - be careful little mouth what you speak..oh be careful little mouth what you speak.....so but I don't have the link for the paper, do your homework and look it up. Report due tomorrow...
  18. i think i just threw up a bit in my mouth......maybe you guys could get skittles to pose with you and make it a foursome.....
  19. I met the UPS driver at the door today!!! Opened up the box and BAMMMM, she's a bute!!!!! And for all those who have ordered a mosin, SOME ASSEMBLY REQ"D!!! Just kidding, only the bolt. I think the soldier who used mine must not have been so good, mine looked next to brand new, some blemishes but nothing to b***h about. Can't wait to get it cleaned up. I must now figure out how to disassemble it and completely clean it.....guess I'll look on the interweb for a booklet......let's go to Norris after I get some boolits...
  20. I am very disappointed at the attitudes of some on this forum, I can't understand why you would not want to supply our wonderful gooberment with the req'd info. We can't move forward till you send it in.......such "civil disobedient" people, bunch of gun tote n, pistol pack n, God fear n, right winged, beer drink n, women chase n, church go n, disobedient children...
  21. Oh yeah, doesn't most rifles come shipped with some kind of compound on them? My AK did and the guy at TriCities Gun Store told me what to take it off with but I had forgotten by the time I got home. Did yours come with similar stuff on it? If so, what's the best stuff to use to get it clean. It may get taken to norris this weekend.....
  22. I hate you, I went to Bill's Outpost and sat in the parking lot for an hour waiting for them to open at noon like the sign said. Never showed, hummmm, guess I'll have to hit it again. Something about the XD factor....
  23. Aim Surplus.....hex. Others seemed pleased with their rifles and recommended them. Shipped today.....fast turnaround since I ordered Monday. UPDATE - UPS says it will be at my door step Friday! Time to tackle the UPS driver.....
