  1. I was in the same situation with the Kahr vs Walther. I bought the PM9. I have not been disappointed. I pocket carry alot and that is why I went with the pm9. The walther is fine if you are going to carry it on your belt. I have shot both and both are excellent weapons.
  2. I read that book about a year ago. I highly recommend it. What an honor to meet someone like that.
  3. It's 12 hours, but the last 3 times I have been there it has been a blast.... Virginia Beach Eat at Bubba's
  4. Do lots of slow dry firing practice and remember to follow through. Perfect practice makes perfect.
  5. I carry mine in a Mika until I can save up enough coin for the stella.
  6. I don't think you can find a better 9mm than the 228. Check them out on sigforum. You should be able to find a used one for around 550. As for the new ones with the rail, I think the best price I have seen is 879.
  7. O Brother Where Art Thou and Tombstone
  8. Take the beer can, drink half the beer, put holes in the top with a church key, then put 1-2 tablespoons of BBQ rub in the half empty beer. Take the chicken with skin on and baste with olive oil. Pour on some Garlic Salt and more BBQ rub then cook at 300-350 until done.
  9. I either pocket carry when riding or use a SmartCarry holster.
  10. I run MIL-TEC and then spray with rem oil. Ran a carbine instructor course @ 600 rds per day between cleanings with no problems.
  11. ST Take that vinegar out of the pork and substitute for tequila. Trust me you'll like it..

    XD40 or XD9?

I vote 9mm. Cheaper to shoot.....
  13. I'll be the odd ball..... High Standard Double Nine.
  14. I rode a VROD one time, that thing was fast. I ended up buying a bagger.
  15. I have a condor rifle case that I have kept my duty AR in for the last 4 years, I have no complaints.
  16. A buddy of mine has a Beretta 9mm carbine, takes Beretta 92 mags. Don't know how much it is but should be much cheaper than an AR. It was very fun to shoot and accurate.
  17. Lets say it was a RRA stripped lower. Have a chance to buy one and wondered the price.
  18. I worked there back in college, as far as I can remember they only restrict shot size. I would call and ask before driving down there. They had some rental guns when I worked there (Berettas) not sure if they still do that or not.
  19. If they went to the one at RCTA in Meridian, MS it is a good one. I went there 3-4 years ago and it was top shelf. The course in Jackson was good, kind of an advanced course. Talked alot about how to formulate questions, etc.
  20. I would go to Jackson, lots to do there. I was in a school in Jackson last week. What school is in Lexington? Mine was I&I.
  21. Thanks for all the input, I picked up a PM9 today. Now I just have to get some time to get to the range..... A while back someone posted a pic of a kydex pocket holster that held the spare mag under the gun, who makes that holster?
  22. David: Good job, welcome to the ranks. Look at the FT-857 it is a very good radio. My neighbor runs one. I had a FT-897 for a while, but didn't really like it. I personally prefer the Icom 706 MKIIG if I had to have an HF mobile, but all I run mobile is vhf/uhf.
