  1. Wilson Combat makes one. Also Gould and Goodrich. I tried leather and have to say I like the Blade tec one best of all.
  2. I have one of those from my grandfather too. What a neat gun.
  3. I like Mika's pocket holsters, not much to look at but get the job done.
  4. m&p 9c is a good choice. My wife likes the Glock 26 best. Also try a sig p239 9mm.
  5. I had the TA01 ACOG on my work gun. I really liked it for distance shooting (50-250 yards). I did not like it for clearing buildings. I prefer zero magnification for that. I see the updated ACOG model (TA01 NSN) actually has a rifle sight on top of it or a provision for mounting a jpoint red dot sight above it. Might be the way to go if you have the coin. The model I had featured the illuminated crosshairs with BDC (which was right on) so I can't comment on the chevron. I ended up going with an EOTECH. My only complaint about the EOTECH is the battery life. Mine takes the N type batteries and the battery life is nothing to write home about. I tried a double A model but it was too big to run with my BUIS. Another more cost effective option that a buddy of mine has and I have shot a few times is the trijicon reflex sight. It has a triangle recticle that did very good from (0-100 yards) for us. I think they are around $300 and no batteries. BTW I bought my ACOG on ar15.com for around $600.
  6. Its a good weapon, half of my dept. carries it. We have had no negative issues with them (other than the occasional loose front sight).
  7. GT is backordered on both.
  8. F%$# paypal. I have never used it and never will. If people wont take a good ole USPS money order, cash, or my debit card then I don't want what they are selling.
  9. I like the blade tech IWB holster, usually only 7-10 days wait. Also a fan of comptac.
  10. I plan on attending, if I can get away from work.

    HK USP 40

I like the P30 better if he can "settle" for a 9.
  12. Sig Pro is good to go.... .357 sig is a little expensive, get you a 40 barrel.
  13. I'm in just not on a Friday. Famous Daves??
  14. Look for a Sig P226 CPO (Certified Pre Owned) Should be able to find one for under $600. Check summitgunbroker.com or Top Gun Supply, they sometimes have them.
  15. Not local but you might try this: http://www.wilsoncombat.com/s_remingtion_steal.asp

    MBR?

You might take a look at the romainian SAR-1. A good rifle for the money and can be had for around $600.
  18. I have seen the Millet (Scout) setup on an M1 and it is sharp. There is a big write up on it over on ar15.com
  19. Not many used ones to be had right now... I think I would just buy a new one for 499 and be done.
  20. Shoot it! I couldn't have a piece like that and not at least shoot it once. I would find some "mild" 230 grain ball ammo and run a mag through it. Of course if it has never been fired, that might change my mind.
  21. I vote revolver. I have had both at the same time and carried the revolver about twice as much as the glock.
  22. I like the SAR-1 also.
