  1. I'd put the rifle in the hard plastic case, then put that inside a cardboard box.
  2. I bet if he had a three wolf shirt, he wouldn't have even needed the chainsaw.
  3. Hey now! Where's your fall restraint harness, hardhat, safety glasses, ear protection, kevlar lined saw pants and steel toed boots?
  4. From what I understand, BP has been sued 4200 times over this incident already, and 2100 of those claims have been settled. That was before the fund was demanded. Can't wait to see how much the government speeds the process along.
  5. There are some pro gun Democrats, including several here in our own state. Senator Doug Jackson, from Dickson (I think), is a Democrat and he's been one of the main legislators involved in getting carry in alcohol serving establishments passed here in TN.
  6. Naturally. How else does one carry their tactical beer mug around?
  7. Some of them do use the same emitter, but I didn't know if you were referencing any particular light. DX has it's place, so long as the buyer understands what they're getting into. Kind of like the Harbor Freight of the flashlight world, as far as complete lights are concerned.
  8. What would you consider a 'comparable' Surefire?
  9. What's your budget? What size of light do you want, 1, 2, 3 batteries? What type of battery do you want? AA/ AAA, or 123s? Does it have to be LED, or would an incandescent work? The P7 isn't a light in and of itself, it's just an LED emitter/ 'bulb'. I can only find one or two lights that advertise having one using a Google search, were you looking at a specific light already?
  10. Nothing wrong with that, but if you intend to use the first gun you purchase on your own as a carry weapon, I would not buy the .22 first. Great gun, but it's not an ideal self defense caliber, and the Ruger Mark III 22/45 has a few features that I would not want on a carry weapon. I'm not sure any holster makers offer a concealable holster for the Ruger, actually.
  11. The Ruger would be an excellent choice. I've had no problems out of mine, and it's very accurate. It would be no good for a carry gun, but it's a great little .22.

    Bonnaroo

They are. I came through there yesterday evening, they had all the Bonaroo traffic on the shoulder (for 5 or 6 miles, I think) and for the most part regular traffic was moving along in the left lane. Looks like the THP has a big 'command center' set up at the semi truck weigh station.
  13. Driving in it is better than loading equipment on a flatbed...usually.
  14. Still sitting on the pallet used to deliver it?
  15. It's too bad they couldn't go to 7 games. I'll give the fans credit, chanting "Let's go Flyers" after the game ended. Granted, they boo'ed the NHL commissioner and Johnathan Tayes when Tayes received the Consmithe trophy...
  16. Overtime goal ended the game. At least the Predators got beaten by the Stanley Cup winners.
  17. I ordered online around 9:45 PM Sunday evening, and I got a phone call on Monday evening, around 6:00 CST. The lady told me that the tanto points were sold out, and said I could substitute another style or they could remove one from the order. I guess it could be that my online order didn't make it through the system until after you ordered (by phone, I take it?).
  18. Looks great, Mark.
  19. I ordered Sunday evening, and they called me Monday to tell me that the tanto points were sold out. Torx might be a #8.
  20. With some creative use of duct tape, any bag could be vacuum sealed. Yeah, I missed that.
  21. They give you plastic bags to carry your items out of the store with.
  22. Too much drama already.
  23. Just saying I'm not a Bud Light fan. Irish whiskey, good ale, I'm up for it. Bud Light? I dont think I can post my honest opinion here, but suffice to say it involves a certain action into a bottle of vodka to achieve the same flavor for a far lower cost.
  24. And you might just be one of my customers...maybe... My family live outside Jackson, just might say hello next time I get over that way. Going to Memphis vs buying my own beverages...I'll buy my own. Friend of mine lives in Memphis, might say hello sometime. You can keep it.
  25. Relax, guy. I'm not calling you a liar. All I said was that I want to see some solid evidence. Is that wrong? I'll revisit the links you posted, perhaps I missed something. My main point is that we need to slow down and be sure before we start assigning blame. As for Rushbo, I can't say either way. I'm not a regular listener.
