What about the knives with assisted or automatic opening devices...are they legal to carry?

I had a similar experience with that guy! I was like a kid in a candy shop, wandering around looking at all the toys. Saw a keltec PLR-16 in the cabinet and asked that guy about it...he was very nice and friendly and helpful...let me hold the gun and answered questions... a little later on I was back at his counter asking a question about whether they had Crimson Trace sights for my G-30. This time he said no, then raised his head and stared off towards the front...I asked a question and was ignored...I even turned around to see what he was staring at as I thought there might be a problem to be aware of, but no... overall a good experience, just a few hiccups....but I still wish I woulda bought that keltec!

The G30 is also my primary carry weapon. I usually carry in a Blackhawk Serpa paddle holster that I shortened for a better fit. Don't really like inside the pants carry.

I'm kinda new here so please excuse me if this is posted in the wrong place. The other day I was in the Goodlettsville Gun Shop and noticed a Forend pistol grip I had been looking for for my Mossberg. I had heard that it wouldn't work on some of the Mossberg's, so i asked Phillip if he thought it would fit mine. He said bring in the shotgun and we will put it on for you. I did and as they were very busy I had to leave it overnight. When I went to pick it up the next morning, it was installed perfectly they only charged me for the cost of the item! He may not realize it, but that small act of good customer service has influenced me and at least one other close friend of mine to spend more money there instead of other gun stores. To me, and some other people, treating your customers right will pay off in the long run, with increased patronage. i just wanted to spread the word!

I will check that out the the next time I see one of those...
