  1. I like tacticool pants and shorts. Not so much for the tacticalness but I loves me some big pockets and lots of them! Great for shooting for sure, and when I go to the range I also take a tactical conceal vest as well, not for the tacticoolness of it but for the pockets, man! If it didnt scream both GUN and mall ninja, I'd wear a vest all the time for the pockets, lol. I can squeeze a lot into a pair of jeans, and I aint just talking about my body, but with tactical pants I can carry what i like. Regular cargo ones mostly work almost just as well for me. Course, my FORO (fear of running out) phobias are what make me roll with a bag in my car with lots of 'extras' to see me thru the day, too.
  2. Sig sucks! I dont need another Sig P-365, dammit! But its looking like the XL may be in my future. I will need to handle one and compare it with my reg 365 first...
  3. Got my Sig P-365 12 rounders in the mail today! Getting ready to load them, but tried one in the gun and it sure does feel right holding the grip! Sure there will be a trade off in concealability, but that grip is sure to improve comfort while firing and accuracy too. The texture is a good match too. Good grip but not too aggressive.
  4. My main issue is that its difficult to get the programming i want via any source other than Comcast. Not to mention that their DVR boxes allow me to record multiple programs at the same time to watch later. Even Comcast doesnt give me all i want without paying a lot extra. I used to get the Military History Channel and recently lost it and Comcast said oh that was a mistake for you to get it in the first place. It only comes with this particular Sports pkg, that you get get for another fee. Not one to watch sports, i said no thanks. I wish some kind of a la carte programming was available. Like say give you a certain number of non premium channels for a certain fee, and you get to pick which channels of that number you want! Instead, they hide certain channels like the Mil History channel in with other programming that you dont want. Probably the biggest thing for me though that both keeps me at comcast and adds to my monthly costs are the DVR boxes. I have on main one in the living room and 2 satellite boxes in the bedrooms that we record shows on and watch different things on at the same time. There are other solutions, but none as good as the Comcast one, though I pay more for it.
  5. Hope it comes to red box or netflix, i dont have HBO.
  6. Shingles scares me! I got the 2 shot series earlier this years...hope it works for me. Hope your pain doesnt last...
  7. To your point, thats why I'm wondering who even wants to be a cop in these times...
  8. I remember that incident as well, and despite the false stories floating around about it, it probably resulted in better training for LEOs. Anothe rone that is scary was the Miami FBI shooting, but One other one that probably fueled my unreasonable phobia about this was the Sgt Timothy Gramins shooting in Skokie, Illinois. If you haven't heard of it, take a read. If nothing else, its an interesting story: https://www.policeone.com/police-heroes/articles/6199620-Why-one-cop-carries-145-rounds-of-ammo-on-the-job/ But I agree with you...my bigger firepower is usually close by with multiple reloads, just in case. Despite my "phobia", i often only have a pocket .380 with 6 rounds in my immediate area, for various reasons you can imagine.
  9. I like that benefit as well. It does make the grip more controllable.
  10. Im not quite sure how I acquired this phobia i have about carrying as much ammo in my weapon as I can. For the first half of my career I carried a .38 with only 6 rounds (and another 18 on the belt), before switching midway thru my career to a 9mm with 15 in the gun. Then, after retiring, I developed this fear of running out of ammo... For years after retiring I carried an FN-45 with 15+1 with another 30 on my belt. Finally convinced myself to go to a lighter, smaller EDC and ended up with a 9mm Shield...but the fear crept back and so i got the 365 when it came out and now carry it loaded with 12+1. Will switch to the 15 rounder when they come in probably. Totally un-explainable fear i have on this issue. On a positive note, I only carry one spare mag on my belt now, with 10 more in my bag, lol.
  11. just pre-ordered 3. Thanks, man.
  12. Did you order from Sig directly? A while back Brownells had a killer sale on Sig mags, but not right now, alas...

    Keltec CP33

Just go this months issue of NRA's Shooting Illustrated magazine, and it has a review of the Keltec CP-33.
  15. Why not in the next few years?
  16. Loves me some Puddles Pity Party! The original of this is my favorite, but this is a good rendition...
  17. I emailed her recently and she responded almost right away. You dont often see that kind of customer service in government.

I had hoped to not have to buy any guns for a while, but this CP33 and that dang shorty 20 gauge have both caught my eye...

lol. My sarcasm didnt show in my post! They DONT look at all alike, which only serves to make me not understand how I did it. I think 22plinksters range reminded me of Hickok45s and I had just been watching hickok45. Thats my story and Im sticking to it, lol. But, it was a pretty good review anyway.

Sorry, guys. My mistake. It was actually the review mentioned above 22plinkster. I had been watching the Hickok45 youtube channel and it took me to 22plinksters. Like they look or act at all the same, lol.

I've got their . 22WMR rifle and pistol, and love them. If they get more available and at a decent price, I may pick one up. Would be nice to have one with a suppressor.

Using the search feature on the front page showed no results for this. Has anyone seen/shot the new Keltec CP33 .22LR pistol? I picked up a S&W Victory earlier this year or late last year and have not been in the market for a new .22 since then, but this little pistol looks sweet. Just watched a video of it on Hickok 45's youtube channel and it looked awesome. Comes standard with 33 round mags and has an add on for a 50 round capacity. Has a threaded barrel and his ran flawlessly pretty much for the most part. I understand they are in short supply, of course, and not sure of the costs but supposedly under 350 or so.
