  1. I actually have Oregon Trail for PC and still play it occasionally. I can remember playing it in elementary school on an Apple IIe. I feel old.
  2. Jaime, surely by now you should know that a Glock has never ever had any failure of any kind. EVER. And if it did it was operator error.
  3. Another vote for the Midway Competition Range Bag . They also make a smaller version. I have the big one and it is great. I've had it for a couple of years and it's still in great shape even though I usually have it loaded down really heavy when I go to the range.
  4. Easy Chuck, senility is no joking matter.
  5. I don't know about that. Florida doesn't have a QB either, and they are just as overrated as LSU.
  6. While it's true that you are supposed to turn to the ball to avoid a penalty. There is not supposed to be any penalty when the ball is uncatchable, no matter which way you're looking.
  7. To be fair, that was a really bad call. Not a lot of contact on an utterly uncatchable ball. If that receiver had been 15' tall he still would have had absolutely zero chance of making a play on the ball, interference or not.
  8. We have horrible coaching. That's an inexcusable coaching mistake all the way.
  9. You can check the various powder manufacturers websites to find load data. Here is a burn rate chart to give you an idea of powders that have a similar burn rate to Solo 1000- Burn Rate Here are links to the manufacturers data- http://www.accuratepowder.com/data/Acc%20Guide%20v3.3%20version.pdf Alliant Powder - Reloader's Guide Cartridge Loads - Hodgdon Reloading Data Center - data.hodgdon.com Ramshot FWIW, Accurate doesn't list any loads for Solo 1000 in 9mm on their website.
  10. Congratulations! The LnL AP is on my short list of future handloading items too.
  11. Here is a quick list of the tools and supplies you will need. This list is geared toward single stage presses, you may not need a couple of these items if you go progressive- Minimum- Press Dies Shellholder(Lee dies come with a shellholder, others don't) Chamfer/Deburring tool Primer pocket cleaner Some method of priming(I prefer to hand prime) Reloading manual Scale Case lube Powder Primers Brass Bullets Calipers Powder funnel Recommended- Powder measure Powder trickler Case tumbler Reloading trays Micrometer Ammo boxes Bullet puller The list goes on and on if you really get into handloading. I would tell you how much I've got in my equipment, but I really, really don't want to add it up.
  12. Yes, you will need either a shellholder(for a single stage or turret press) or a shellplate(for a progressive press). According to Hornady's site you would use shellplate #1 for the SOCOM. If you do get the LnL AP instead of the single stage remember that there are other things you'll need that don't come with the AP but do come with the single stage kit- powder scale, manual, primer flipper tray, chamfer/deburring tool, and case lube at a minimum. Once you reload for a little while you will realize just how much more stuff you "need".
  13. Believe me, I'm a total slob with everything BUT my reloading bench. I didn't even tidy it up before I took that pic, that is exactly how it always looks right before I start and right after I get done loading.
  14. Here is my reloading setup since I doubled the size and added a few new tools. It's working out much better now that I have a lot more room to work with- When I get a progressive press I'll expand again.
  15. I'd keep it and make it into whatever you want it to be. You already know that you have a reliable, accurate handgun.
  16. SRV and David Gilmour(the most underrated guitarist ever).
  17. Bull-o-knee. U2 isn't even the greatest Irish band of all time. That distinction belongs to The Pogues. Heck, I'd put The Cranberries ahead of U2- Delores O'Riordan is HOT.
  18. Yes. Led Zeppelin is the greatest rock band of all time.
  19. Yeah, we're supposed to. The problem for me is that I don't have a truly dominant eye. I have a very hard time focusing on sights with both eyes open unless I consciously think about with which eye I want to focus.
  20. It's really more about protecting their majority. It's about letting labor unions buy more elections. Nine of the top fifteen political contributors are labor unions, and every single one of them leans heavily Democrat. Strangely, every single one of them would be exempt from the Disclosure Act.ETA- Also, Phizer is 35th in total campaign contributions behind 13 different labor unions. And Toyota didn't even make the top 129.
