I not so much worried about the safety, we will be going fairly early and Mr. Glock will be tagging along. I don't mind the walk and I don't think she will either if I can convince her it will put her in the Christmas spirit with the chill in the air.

So wifey wants to go see the pretty lights, but me being the cheapskate I am, doesn't want to shell out the $20 for parking! (absolutely ridiculous to charge that for parking, but that's a whole nother can of worms). Anybody know of a free place to park that's closer than Opry Mills mall parking? I am more than willing to park there to save the money, but I am afraid she will not. Any help would be appreciated.

I've been toying with the idea of selling my mower and getting a zero turn, but i don't know what to ask for my mower. It is a LT1042 made by Cub Cadet, only has about 55 hours on it, bought it in June of '08 and has been serviced at the end of each season. Think i originally paid $1700 for it, I was leaning towards $900 or $1000, but really don't know if that is way off mark. Think I will do a poll and you guys can vote or throw something out there if I don't have your choice.

The job posting just says ability to get a CDL within 2 weeks, so I figured it would be a B, but maybe a C.

Thanks for the tips guys. The reason I am looking is for a job delivering DSD pizza to retail stores, so it will be a big box truck type (freezer on wheels). Don't know if I will even get an interview, but if I do I would like to know what my next steps are going to be.

That's what I was gathering with the limited research I have done. Thanks for the info guys.

Looking into getting a CDL, class B specifically, do you have to get a permit first and keep for so long before you can get your CDL, like a normal DL? Is a school required, or can you just study the materials and take the test? Really have no valid source to ask these questions and I figured somone on here must have knowledge. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for the info guys, it is for a sales rep position. This will be my first interview in ~7 years, and my first big formal type ever. All my others consisted of meeting the owner at the location and a casual conversation. So I am a little nervous, especially about the type of questions Kelemvor pointed out.

I have an interview with PBG in Nashville next week and was wondering if anyone could tell me kinda what to expect? I am really interested in the position and would love to work for a large company with some benefits, I have always worked for small family owned companies and while I had more freedom, I had no benefits and no security. I found that out in January when I got laid off. So if there are any employees, or people that went thru the interview process, some feedback would be great. Thanks

you could just buy a replacement follower.

Tango Down makes a Vicker's Tactical mag release that is in between the stock and extended ones, and is also radiused on the edges. I have been thinking of picking one up, but have never had any trouble with the OEM extended.

I think this is going to be my first buy of the year, if they are available in the next month or so. Here is the link to some info and pics. Tomorrow: Kimber releases a handgun - not a 1911 - 1911Forum

I bought 2 from jetguns using Gunbroker, when they came they both had Bud's inventory stickers on them. No complaints I would use them again if I needed.

Headed to the mtns this weekend, didn't think about the BIG game, and I am sure traffic will be terrible. I have also been hearing horror stories about construction all the way from the other side of Lebannon to Sevierville. So my question is anybody have a shortcut that might keep this from turning into a 6 or 7 hour trip to the mtns.? I know about the Lenoir city exit, but I am more worried if there is a project before we get to that exit. Thanks

Well, I looked at the beam modules, and they looked to be lined up and both have the lights on when open. So I cleaned the lenses and now it seems to be working ok. So maybe just dirty lens? Anyway thanks for the help guys.

Mine is really frustrating me. it has always occassionally not worked properly, but in the lst week or so it has just given up any normality whatsoever. It will not open or close using either remote. And to get it to close inside you have to push and hold the button until it closes, or it will start back up aas soon as you stop pushing. It is really frustrating me. just wondering if anyone here has had the same problem and what you did to fix it? Thanks

Naw, just easier for people to notice the eateries, yeah that's the ticket. Now where did I put that Burger King cup?

Las Palmas, right next to Wendy's and just down from the intersection where the Krystal's used to be.
-
Which member?

So the wife and I were at Las Palmas in Goodlettsville tonight, Chimichangas . Anyway the old jewelry store next to it has a sign on the door D&T Arms. Nothing inside but shelving and cases. So what's the scoop anybody know who it is, or opening date? Mods, if this is the wrong place, feel free to move it, but I couldn't decide where to put it.

No problem, knew it was too good to be true.

Really! the M13? Do you know how much? You can PM the info if you don't want to post publicly. Thanks EDIT: Just called and they said no M13's, several PSP's and M8's

I have a P7M8 and love it, so I am familiar with the manual of arms and the piston operation and heat associated with it. But they are so hard to find anywhere local to even look at in person let alone feel. The price (the 1600-1800, not the 2500-3000 or more some people are trying to get) is not a huge problem, always felt you payed for quality. I guess my real question is has anyone got one or had one, and what was your impressions compared to the M8? Anybody know where one is for sale local?
-
How are their prices and selection?
