  1. That's what I get for reading and not looking at the pictures. Thanks RW.
  2. So who knows about invisible fences. I will be moving in to my house tomorrow and thinking about this for my dog. What I don't know is where to start. I'm wanting to keep cost down but still work for a 45 pound English Bulldog. I know WalMart has one for sale as does Lowes and Home Depot. What do I need to be looking for though? Are the sub $200 kits worth a darn? I know the Invisible Fence Brand is the top of the line but out of my price range. Let me know your experiences good and bad. Thanks,
  3. Why do they have no love for the 45xd?
  4. I have heard of several people not getting good service out of Sig customer service (internet reading) but everyone I know personally has had a great experience with them. Your results may vary.
  5. I have one and can tell you that you want regret getting one. The only hard part is deciding on which one. Mine is a P220 Combat I use as a host for my M2 Cobra. The 220 has been flawless.
  6. My dog or the lazy thing sleeping next to me.
  7. Know exactly where you are talking about. You know "GroundHog" from up that way?
  8. Yeah where at? I'm up that way on the bike every few weeks and always looking for a new place to eat. Are you talking Wartrace or Defeated area? And Congrads on the job.
  9. You will love the Mite. They are so much fun as any can is. Only down side is every 22 I look at now I have to ask:"Does it come threaded or can it be threaded?". Verne
  10. I have several tuckable holsters but hardly ever tuck with them. You can't go wrong with a Crossbreed. Might want to also look at Highnoon. I have a Highnoon split decision that I use almost all the time with an XD45C. I am currently waiting on a D.M. Bullard Dual Carry for my P220. it looks to be a high quality piece. But for all out comfort my vote would be a Milt Sparks Versa Max 2. I have one for a 1911 and you will forget it is even there. Down side is a along wait to get one and probably one of the most expensive but worth it. After posting this I'm begining to think I am a holster whore.
  11. Stopped and picked it up at Walmart on the way home and setting here watching it now. I saw it in theaters when it came and and knew this is one I would have on DVD. I know this movie is not for everyone but I love it. Funny as hell. So who else picked it up today?
  12. That sound good. Now back to MW2.
  13. So who is still going? I'm having a hard time motivating my crew to go since the weather.
  14. It's just not Nashvegas, they call Hartsville Hartsvegas. I have heard this my whole life so doesn't really phase me. My personal favorite is "The Great Metropolis of Hartsville, TN and it's fine eatery's."
  15. Is this still going to happen given the weather?
  16. That would be lot and lots of fun! Wish I had a FA lower too.
  17. Is there any place in the Nashville area that carries one of these? Would like to pick one up. Thanks, Verne
  18. Might try Terry's Market in Gallatin. Don't let the look of the place fool you darn good cuts there. It is right across the railroad bridge on old 109 just north of the civic center on the left.
  19. 2 am would work but I'm out of tracers. Now if I can get Sam to part with some.
  20. Congrads on the purchase. I don't really think you will hear much from them. We shoot almost every weekend with weather permiting only a few hundred yards outside the city limits. Not even a mile from town and never have problems. There are up to 10 of us out there at one time shooting at once. And the Sheriff has no problem signing any NFA forms. Ray is a good guy.
  21. Being from Trousdale I would like top know who you talked to? The only ordinances I am aware of pertain to Public Ranges (If you wanted to open one). There are the usual safe shooting stuff but I have shot here my whole life with out a single issue. I don't think there is any of the mentality that out of towners are not welcome. There have been countless people to move in over the past 10 years but this is a small town/county community. Everybody knows everybody. My dad was the local FFL up till he passed so I knew all the Police growing up and now all of them are friends or people I went to school with. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. Verne
  22. Moms side is Irisih and Dads side is German. I don't know if I should blow up a car or start war with the Allies? Either way I'm drinking beer doing it. There is other stuff mixed in but those two are the major ones.
  23. I have had that gun for over 20 years and love it. I hope to pass it down at some point. I have been looking for the 6 inch model but haven't found one I've been willing to pay for yet. I really think they are a very under appreciated gun in the 22 world. Thanks for the complements.
  24. My first NFA item I got, YHM Mite on a S&W 422. And my second one, a YHM M2 .45 Cobra on a Sig P220 Combat.
  25. I will be there. You need to have the Vector ready for me to play with.
