  1. That has to be the funniest thing I have heard all day. Thank you. Now I am officially out of Woodford. So do I go back to Single Barrel or crack the seal on some Crown? Decisions decisions.
  2. Some friends just stopped by and left more alcohol. Got to love good friends and Crown Royal. Now if I just didn't have to get up and go to work tomorrow.
  3. Depressing. Wait for for it, wait for it........ ITIS MY BIRTHDAY. LOL Not kidding either.
  4. That was a problem we were having ealier. He wanted to listen to Beatles and I wanted Nickleback. When he starts paying some of the bills he will have a say so Nickleback it was.
  5. Sitting at home drinking alone. That is all. It started with some Single Barrel then some WoodFord Reserve and who knows what is next. And my bulldog is a light wait. He is already passed out with just smelling my glass. Figured being English he would have some tolerance.
  6. Ok so this has got me thinking and searching online (two bad combination's for my wallet). I already have a .45 can and am always wanting to see how quiet I can get something plus when out on the property it would be handy for in 4 legged pest. So where do you find one of these kits? I have searched and not having much luck, guess my google fu is weak. Not set on anyone conversion from what I can find. It could be any of them but would prefer one like Dolomites using a Savage base. So where do I need to go from here? Thanks in advance.

    E-readers??

Yes you can play games on a kindle. I have used a friends and it has solitaire and black jack on it but don't know what else you can get.
  8. Yankee Hill makes a riser for the railed gas blocks. I have never used one just remember them from their website. Here is the link. Gas Block Riser At $42 though it might not add up once you buy a front sight too.
  9. I have a Mite and like the hell out of it. If it is the regular model (not the stainless) you can only use it on .22 LR/Short/Long. You can not use it on a .22 magnum or .17 HMR. I called and asked YHM about the .17 HMR and that is what they told me. I swap mine between several .22 LR's, both rifle & handgun, and works great on all of them.

    2011 Car

I think you will be happier with the Z given you were originally going for the Ducati. Curves are so much fun. If you want the take the poor mans Duc for spin (aka the SuperHawk) I will swap you for a spin in the Z. LOL My interest lean towards anything that handles.

    S&W or Colt?

My vote is Smith, not that I don't like Colts, it is just all I have is Smiths and can't do that to them. My pride and joy S&W.
  12. Only if you show up without food or guns. greg should understand what was meant by on the river. Old Hartsville/Lafayette ball busting.
  13. I will extend the same offer if you want to shoot one. All you have to do is come of the hill down to the river. LOL We will probably be out at our classified testing area this weekend anyway. It will probably be a stress relief/cabin fever shoot (translation no real accuracy just good ole country boy fun on the farm). Plus we will probably have some other fun stuff with us.

    Snow Report

The retreat bugle sounded. Made it about 2 miles from my house and realized it wasn't worth the hassle. The roads are bad around here. SNOW DAY!!!!!!

    Snow Report

Hartsville reporting in with snow on the ground, 2 to 3 inches I would guess. This were just taken outside my house. Now for the fun part, Off to work!!!!!!! Can you say donuts????
  17. Yeah but it is the drink of choice for the 220. Thanks for the comments.
  18. I'm using a Canon 30D with a Niffty 50 (50mm f2.8) lens. I know all about shooting a bunch with a few coming out. I remember the first year I went to Indy for the MotoGp race. Around 9,000 pictures and maybe 200 coming out as good. I am getting better at the whole panning thing but only doing it a couple times a year isn't helping me get better quicker. I more of a hobbyist with this but I have fun.
  19. I moved in to my house last February and have until today set back up my photography stuff. Still have to finish my back drop to get the studio done but did get the light box set up and what better way to test it out again is with pics of my new Maverick Defender for my P229. Plus some others I did today. My P220 Combat & YHM M2 Cobra Can. I did realize today that I need to build a bigger light box. I really want to do some rifle photos but my P220 with the can will barely fit in my current setup.
  20. I am now in a toss up for my next bolt gun. The Ruger Scout or a Rem 700 ACC-SD that I found a great deal on. Decisions decisions.
  21. I'm interested but will have to check one out when they hit the streets.
  22. Congratulations on moving up the chairs. Just wait till you make it to the big chair. As far as recipes I can't really help. We are lucky if we have enough show up to open lodge on a regular stated meeting. So we don't fix food but for degrees and other more important gatherings and the Eastern Star is more than happy to help and we are great full for it. I do have a recipe for Buffalo Chicken dip I will send you. Good grazing food.
  23. I just realized you changed your screen name. You know you have now made it where you will have to get the new motorcycle. Do it man and do it now, then call me when it gets here!!!!! I climbed all over the ones at the BMW display at Indy MotoGP this year and have to say if I had the money it would be a close call between the S1000RR and the KTM RC8.
  24. Yeah the old girl is still ticking away miles. Over Look at the Dragon
  25. I have one of the $70 dollar Harbor Freight ones. It works great for what I need it to do and if you keep your eye on their site you can catch them on sale very often for $59 dollars. I use it mainly to clean my suppressors and a few other small parts. Mainly use Pure jugged water in it. Have not thought about using it to clean brass though. .
