Too big for my hands, just didn't feel right. For me there are better options in the polymer "target/competition category, mainly the Walther Q5 Match. Better ergos, better trigger - IMO
-
I read your original post as you not wanting to use a Romeo.
-
P365 is my current EDC so that would be my first choice... And just to expand the list I'll throw in a Dan Wesson ECO
-
The X-carry would be the choice if you are going to carry it at all. The X5 is a big gun. As far as co-witness goes I don't thing either will, the rear sight is part of the plate that you take off to mount the optic... I think, would need to research that one.

Checked and Springer Precision does make and adapter plate, $35
-
I had one but traded it shortly after picking it up. From what I remember it only took the Romeo, and no not all reflex sights use the same spacing/location of their mounting screws. There might be someone who makes a plate to mount other brand optics to the X5 though.

The way I look at it the more options I have the better. Something about it I may like that drives me to buy one, if not then I leave it on the shelf. Good competition breeds continuous improvement and lower prices, or at least can. I mean really, who needs a car in a color other than black....

I took the WC out as soon as I got home yesterday, ridiculous how soft it shoots. The still haven't broken down and shot the Vol ed.

This sums it up for me (well except for the 19 being my chosen platform). Carried a 43 for a long time and then the P365 came out and bye bye went the 43. 19s have never worked for me because the grip is a terrible fit for me. If I want to carry something 19 sized it's one of my CZs, either the P01 or P10. The P365 fills the role of "leave it in the car, wear it everywhere but work" for me so I probably won't get one but I'll wait and see how it feels in hand to decide for sure.

I thought they might be, he does great work! The one's on the Rami were my first set, the Christmas present will go on my matte stainless 75. Cajun goodness will make that Rami oh so sweet!
-
Oh man, my favorite guns those CZs. My favorite being a fully Cajunized SP-01 Tactical Those 75 grips look great, who made them? Have a set of Hakan Pek's to open Christmas morning. Selling this on tomorrow...
-
Just to throw something different out there - Sig P320 X5. Weighted magwell, 21 rounds of flat trigger goodness. But like someone else said I wouldn't go plastic, I'd go either CZ SP-01 or Shadow 2, depending on what kind of money you wanted to spend.

Make a large bet with him and I'll split the winnings with you after you after prove to him otherwise. Contacted the shop I got mine from asking about a second and he is out of them but has 12 more on order
-
I've already checked into ordering a second one... My philosophy on guns has always been not to buy anything I wouldn't shoot but for some reason this one struck a cord that makes me want to keep it as is. I've got plenty others to shoot My decision doesn't really have anything to do with potential value increase, that's what stock markets are for (well at least in theory....) I guess it just boils down to the fact it sure is Purdy.....
-
So now the question becomes, shoot or don't shoot? I'm displaying mine at the moment but the urge to take it to the range is strong....
-
Nope, bought it from a gun store in Utah of all places. They are also advertised for sale at Smokey Mtn, at the time I was looking last week they were out of stock but when I looked today they showed available.
-
Picked this one up today, Beretta 92G Tennessee limited edition. Had no idea they were made until a fellow board member posted a pic, and then helped me find one after my searches came up empty!!
-
Maybe with the upgraded sights and number of mags.... maybe. Would really depend on how much value you put on the mags. Max I'd pay for the the gun and 3 mags would be $500, my LGS had a very nice Gen4 with night sights in the case this afternoon for $489
-
What makes this not a p320? It's just a full size slide on a compact frame and has a manual safety (which some p320s had depending on state requirements) Cool looking gun and I wouldn't be able to not shoot it

Sig P365 checks all your boxes.
