he should be there, he gave away 9mm limited last year for the AM prize table. do not about the Pro side. yes a new gun -no mags- would suck -

there no reason not to go, get side matches true pro's with no hognuts : it is open to the public to watch and do the side matches, last year the side matches where free and up. just be sure and check in. thhttp://rock3gun http://rock3gun.com/. home page link last year FN gave away a PS 90 to who cut a stick in half the fastest Free-LaRue 50 -1000 yards there ammo guns and pro's CMMG $10 for 20 rounds of the full auto of your choice plus several more the word is this in the cave side match it will be night vision and suppressed LaRue is back etc. free pro clinilics in the evening worth the drive about the only Pro shooter that likely will not be seen there is the great one. if you wish to get a mug shot with one or shake a hand, wait til after they shoot and put there gear away. there 500 active shooters in the match plus all TV shows Team RWF will be there!!!

the white oak barrels i have had shoot better than i do. i built a 20" 5.56 just to do a 1000 yard F class match with. my first 1000 yard match had 2 misses. my 18" is my main racing gun right now(3 gun) and do plan on taking it to Memphis for a 600 yard F-class later this year.

thank you and yes the bottom of the case blew out, like it fired out of battery. but up until i pulled the trigger it felt normal. i do believe it was a reload, i was shooting a mix of ammo all 147's. still learning how to shoot a open gun the 147's make it a little more like a limited gun. the 124's i think work just a tad better. i am very glad it did not break also the pistol is new and bought this for this build which has taken longer than i was planing, the 3 gun Nation Pro/Am is this Friday. on a side note i e-mail Julie asking if a M & P can fire out of battery. i hope she replies. no i do not reload.

Brooks Tactical A-Grip, I really like it and it is on most of guns even on my check pieces of my AR's. it is never hot or cold or slippery. i had it on a few of my pistols for several years. the wife likes the skate board style better. but i had to replace hers and the A-Grip is going strong. it does cost more but i feel you do get what pay for in this case. and Thank you.

nope, bought a cheap surge protecter!

i was getting pratice in today. still trying to learn how to shoot the open pistol before the pro/am. when one round went POP, lots of smoke and felt something hit my strong hand. when i looked my my had a lot black on it including my trigger finger. clear the gun, checked it out and the mag. could not find anything wrong with the pistol, the mag looked good, the top round was black with a few bright spots. the round before felt normal and amsure the it fully cycled. when it POPed i knew that it did not cycle. but anyway put the mag back in and kept on shooting.

Something a little different.....

very nice! -
for most the carrier does not make a difference. some the higher $ have very nice finishes that are very easy to clean and self lubricating. if you are trying to shoot flys at 200 then a heavier for a longer lock time. if you building a gun for racing with fast cycling and lower recoil then a light weight bolt, like a JP LMOS

Vortex HD- if you want Mils or MOA the reticle and the adjustments will match. there C.S. is great! i bought a vortex from optics planet and when i got it i decided i just prefered a duplex and did not need the extra stuff. well optics planet has 100% money back garuantee, anyway they refused to refund my money because they said "it looked like it may have been used" contacted Vortex, they sent me a return label then refunded the money to optics planet so optics planet would refund me my money!

the CZ should be both SSP & ESP. at a match i do not they would allow half cock and safety off. also the CZ-75 SA would be ESP only.

great job all and we had a great time.

well got use it at 2 matches this weekend, i shot as a secound gun for no score at the henry county IDPA. a little slow on the draw til my real holser gets here. few of the guys wanted to try it out while i playing with the shotgun in there steel bay, there made to be 10-15 standing line for there turn. it was the IDPA idea of a speed stage about 7 targets witha non threat in the middle at 45 deree line one to the body and one to the head. use my open m & p and a few had under 2 second runs. and they all use there ammo. from factory 115-160 green bayou bullets. today i did USPSA it went well but spent to much time dot hunting, Brad a Grand Master shoot it super fast keeping all the shoots in the "A" no more than 3" apart and it ran with no isses! WOO! HOO!!! -
$60 for a 50 BMG round not going to happen on a one piece mount Model 1 or burris under 100, but Vortex would be much better under 200 Larue even better over 200 and GG & G or Samson make one with a spring in the middle to help with recoil.

which ever you most familuar with, BUT TRY TO GET A SCOPE THAT HAS THE SAME ADJUSTMENTS AS RECTICLE! MOA Dail with a MOA recticle, most seem to be MOA dails with a mil rectile.
-
the barrel is worth the wait! i have the same one, did you see if Rainer has one in stock?

Jim, you may know already, but since you said you are new to the area, do not forget about the 3 gun nation match at rockcastle just outside Bowling Green the weekend of the 24th, its friday, saturday and sunday. the match is full but last years side matches great, some were free, others $10 and open to the public. exsample free last year LaRue 50-1000 yards there guns, ammo, spotters, etc. $10 FN 7" full auto 5.7 50 rounds and those who cut the stick in half the fastest won new PS 90 $10 CMMG 7" full auto flame throwing 5.56 20 rounds it was much cheaper when the was afraid of guns

Wilson cans are all titanium w hich doesn't make them that much more than say YHM titanium can. plus there 20% off coupons are not that hard to come by most poeple will not pick one up off a prize table because they just think the hi end 1911. still waiting on the can, but my 6.8 can with brakes for 223 and 6.8, with NP3 finished bolts for each and there 5.56 fluted barrel and TTU was under 2k. so even with stamp and the local dealer fee it will be around $1,200 total.

RWF replied to RWF's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
No, just got all the parts, in a few days ago, got a rough zero, still working on what to feed it, do not reload but do have a ammo sponsor, or more of a discounter, but it all helps, the factory 115 are to bouncy, 124 are nice, and so are the 147's. it is looking like full power 147's for now anyway. Tactical Ammo will load what i request, but all there 124 loads are higher end, loaded with gold dot, nolser and the like. i will be at NTPS this weekend most likely Sunday, with it. i do not have much time the Pro/Am is in just a couple of weeks. if you are there you are welcome to give it a try. it is nice shooting, but does not stay as level (the slide up and down from recoil) as a 2011, but even as is it half the price or less. and thanks! -

sorry to heard that you and magic are friends! no not really, he has helped me before on buying a couple of scopes from me. you both will have to post some pictures. there is one thing i do not like about it, i know my hands are shakey, worst than ever these days, but DXXN!!!! that red dot can be all over the place, the mounting screws must be loose!
