well a little disapointed, but i did have to rush the range was already closed. got to B.S.ing normally people do not stop by to watch, had several and let some shoot my 3 gun AR. also tryed to help this guy's wife out she was shooting a basic M4 style with her son and it kicking her fairly good. had her also try my 3 gun AR and promised her that it would not recoil, and she loved it. anyway lost track of time, plus i forgot my spotting scope and that did not help. this to see how the 6.8 140 grain VLD's ran. i do believe after some trigger work to the factory "match 2 stage" i will be able to get some good sub MOA with them. anyway 400 yards 6.8 140 grain SSA VLD string out to the right.

I do know that the M9 went though growing pains, several parts were prone to break, if i rememeber correctly it was the slide and the barrel block i think it is called. no i am not a fan of the M9, as i recall it was the main force for the 9mm was do to NATO, everyone else was using 9mm. on the cost side SIG also came out top, but because they wanted more for mags and all the goodies that came with it, they lost. also on one post someone was talking about when cleaning the M & P and the little spring on the sear. unless things change a whole hell of lot. you a soldier will never strip it down that far. hell by the book we could not even remove the trigger group on your rifle. that was 3rd shop work.

maybe showing my age but the issued 1911 you did not a tool just use your thumb, not like the 1911's you buy today were it is tightly fit, all the ones i used and shot as i remember where sloppy loose but ran like a champ!

on open, unlimited rounds in the tube? -
no, no there are no sharks there, honest! or at least then i was shooting there. match fee is $10 and each division winner would get a choice of trophy or ammo. plus if you get 5 or 10 in your string,no misses, you win a pin, each range 25, 50, 75 and 100 and you ten shots per string. if you hit all 10, you kept reshooting that string with all watching to see how many you can get in a role. now i have loss a few dollars on betting on myself for the most hits in a role. most turn outs are small.

okay show off, we ended giving them away! (the 60 grain sub sonic) have you been to the 22rf silhouotte matches in benton county? we not have been in years, the 75 yard turkey's are tough! it standing free style. the chicken's (25 yard) are about the size of bottle caps. it very laid back and informal, but fun.

graycat sorry to hear about the 29", i do have to say that does sound like long 22 RF barrel, but know nothing about it. what ammo does the barrel maker say to use. we also never could get the 60 grain 22 rf work. no key holes but never functioned.

Remington 1100 failure to close

if it was not picking up the new shell then yes, a new mag spring, or if the new round was not pushed clear of the mag tube. i guess its possible that there is not enough force to have the new shell release the bolt. but i think it would be hard replace the lifter and make that be your problem. if you wish to test the mag spring idea, just swap tube and spring from the other or even trigger groups. myself i do not like the 1100 or 11-87 -

thanks, she is the "W" in RWF, Wanda, The M & P 15-22 was the 2nd rifle she had ever owned and look at her now. and Yes, we all are getting old, she was almost 50ish when she finally decided to give rifle a try. the rifle on top, it was the cool facter, that got her to try center fire. it breaks down in 3 parts, with the both recievers together mag in place and fits into a standard lap top case. just wish i was a better teacher, that's why the eotech's.

on a side note she has hit 200 yard steel with it

okay. we know, this the one you realy want, it is on the bottom suppressed.

looks great! Burwell is very hard to get a hold of, facebook seems to work best. works a regulator job, shoots a lot big matches for/to promote his gunsmithing and is a victim of his own success! even though we a regulater customers it can still take abit.

we have never had that issue on the EMP, what Tim said maybe correct, but are you 100% sure that your grip is not slowing or stopping mag. it would not take but just a touch. when the wife was shooting 9mm 1911 full size before good 10 round mags came out, she was using 10 round 38 super mags and in idpa even 1 round in the mag it would fall/come out of the mag inside the grip but was never a issue and we did not worry about it. but the EMP takes EMP mags sooo, we have about 10 of them and that does that.

there are a few shooters, who shoot 40 minor in idpa with glock and M & P's. but they reload. we even knew some who used a download G20 for several years. it is just what you happy with.

midway has DPMS on sale this month, if you get the slick side it is stripped but it's stripped away because there is no FA or place for dust cover $75 i think. if you do not the slick slide Rainer Arms had several models in stock about a week ago. but they tend to deal in upper end stuff.

i know you said, you waanted a out of the box gun, but the ruger 10-22 is the easiest to make changes to and there is a ton of after market Target gun stuff for it. i have shot the CZ in 17 HMR and was super surprised my the trigger and accuracy. Kimber also makes or made target style 22 RF.
