1.   $220 doesn't sound bad at all.  Now, if only I can find one in stock!
2.
You mean the "federal law" part, Gun Free School Zone Act?   If so, permit from the state is an exception under it.   - OS
No, I was asking about "(a) Notwithstanding §§ 39-17-1309, 39-17-1311, or § 39-17-1359".
3.
...They also had a Ruger 10/22, I'm sure it's gone by now.
Any idea how much they were selling it for?
4.   I wondered about the K-12 part myself.  Maybe the thinking is that most, maybe all, of the colleges and universities have armed security already.  I'd like to see the bill extend to all schools though.
5.   Are you?  I took the first part of the following to mean that at least schools were excluded from the bill.  Can someone clarify?     39-17-1313.   (a)  Notwithstanding §§ 39-17-1309, 39-17-1311, or § 39-17-1359, unless  expressly prohibited by federal law, the holder of a valid handgun carry permit  recognized in Tennessee may transport and store a firearm or firearm  ammunition in the permit holder’s privately-owned motor vehicle, as defined in §  55-1-103, while on or utilizing any public or private parking area if:
6. I don't recall the exact date, but I believe I've been waiting for about three weeks now.
7. I ask at the local Walmart's regularly. I messed one by minutes yesterday. It does sound like they are regularly trickling in, you just have to be very lucky to actually get one. :-(
8.
...5.56 federal in the ammo cans. ...
Wow, wish I had ran across one of those! I got some 22lr in JC and felt like I won the ammo lottery, but one of the cans would have been much nicer.
9. Appears to be in stock here, though I know nothing about the place. $5.49/20 for Tula. http://stores.shootertactical.com/-strse-615/TULA-762X39-122GR-FMJ/Detail.bok
10.   I've been watching this as well.  In the past, Walmart carried two versions of the M400.  For a couple of days, both disappeared from the website, while the Colt, Windham, and DPMS have been consistently present.  Over the weekend, one of this reappeared on the list though.   http://www.walmart.com/ip/Sig-Sauer-M400-with-Prismatic-Scope/21677320
11.   I've seen that as well.   BTW, has anyone actually called the number to find out what the reps are actually saying?
12.   I've already seen prices being increased at two of the Walmarts in my area in the past week.
13. Should this do something obvious after you "Submit" it - go to another page or the like?  I filled out everything and clicked the button, but nothing happened that I could tell.  So, I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong.
14. Thanks again for the information guys. I had no idea there could be so much history related to this old rifle living in my closet.
15. BTW, any idea what the smaller bird stamps with the x2 under them are?
16. Thanks for the great resource.  I really appreciate it!
17. I have an old rifle that I got when my father died. He had been given it many years before and didn't really know anything about it. So, I'm hoping that someone here can tell me a bit about what I've got. Best as I can tell, the writing says New England Westinghouse Company 1915, followed by some odd symbol - not quite pi, but like pi with the lower right leg cut short.
18. I just happened across this old thread and wanted to thank the people who mentioned this range back in '09. I spent a few days in the area earlier this year and was able to take advantage of the Sevier ISR. Without this forum, I likely wouldn't have even known it existed. I would recommend it to anyone that's visiting the area!
19. I don't know that I would have understood the question either if I wasn't familiar with On the Side Arms.
20. From ATF Online - Statistics - Listing of Federal Firearms Licensees - 01 1D 00719 "MILLER, STEPHEN H" ON THE SIDE ARMS 1645 ROCKY HOLLOW RD JONESBOROUGH TN 37659 PO BOX 353 JONESBOROUGH TN 37659 4232823091
21. My experience has been that the LCP will feed most anything, FMJ or JHP - WWB, Prvi, Remington Green and Golden Saber, Hornady, etc.
22. I have, but that just seems to give me a list - not reviews. I'm hoping that someone here will have personal experiences that will tell me more about how well the transactions go with various ffls.
23. I'm considering purchasing an gun online because I've found a price that the local shops simply can't compete with. Anyone know of a good place in JC to get the transfer done - a place that won't over charge or refuse to do it because it's something they might carry?
24. It sure looks like Little Pigs in Asheville, NC - Little Pigs BBQ FWIW - I'd give them 4 out of 5 snouts. :-)
25. Are they still open? For some reason I was thinking that they had closed, thus the omission. If they're still there, then they are also worth a visit.
