  1. Why not? It was designed to shoot corrosive ammo just like the .45ACP.
  2. I will keep them as I still have several firearms that the magazine covers.
  3. No thanks from Beltfed. Others might feel differently.
  4. I have a hex receiver Nagant. Never fired from Russian rebuild. Large case of 7.62x54R to go with it. The hex receiver is suppose to be the collectible one but I am not up on the Russian stuff.
  5. I have been shooting for many years. My old shooting buddies, and I mean old, are down sizing due to health problems and age. One of them reached out to me to see if I could get rid of his ammo. Word spread and I’m buying out other friends. I need more guns like I need a root canal. I collect U.S. military and got my eye on the 30-40 Craig however. I picked up what’s shown above yesterday. I hope to pass most of this on to east Tennesseans. The 7.62x39 will most likely go with the SKS. We will see what pops up next. I hope to have a AK-47S under folder shortly.
  6. I can’t believe my luck. I will be offering some of this for people that I can meet FTF around Knoxville.
  7. Bought from an old friend who is giving it up. Three cans including one from WWII. Can not ammo. Late date ammo.
  8. Chucktshoes has it right. Factory ammo is good to go.
  9. I believe that just a lack of use as he has had it almost four years and never used it, and hot humid Tennessee summers did the deed. Now that I think about, he has my big chainsaw.
  10. Thanks guys. I’ll try your suggestions.
  11. I just got back my Dillon Square Deal back from my nephew who let it get rusty and such. Does Dillon still offer to rebuild these machines? Thanks.
  12. I’ve reloaded a number of 2-3/4” 00 buck shells over the years. Because the balls are so large the only fit 2each in each layer. The ball stack does not reach the top of the shell, so unless you buffer the load the crimp is hard to get right. What I do is put 2each #2 balls on top then buffer with powered nylon. I call it my ‘buck and two bits’. As I understand it, the 00 buck round was developed for the 10 gauge.
  13. Thanks. I bought all they had.
  14. It all depends of how I have you have. Looking for several thousand pieces of brass.
  15. NPR might work.
  16. I believe a problem with the 7.62x54R vs .30-06 is the chamber on the 54R is 54mm and the 06 is 51mm. That makes the 54R bigger.
  17. Orginial chambering for that rifle is 7.62x54R.
  18. The real deal.
  19. I had one years ago. Didn’t like the ‘bong-bong’ as it cycled. Turned into a HK-51 Fire Dragon. Got a FN-FAL instead. Like it much better
  20. The forum guys say Bud’s Guns is closed. COVID I guess.
  21. I checked Bud’s Guns in Sevierville. They have one for $341. I’d call first. Good luck.
  22. No problem. I got the pick of the litter years ago at INTRAC. They inported 1000’s of them from Russia. Only paid $85 for it. Prices are sky high right now for anything Gun related. Have a good day and stay safe.
  23. North of $500.
