Nikiski Dave replied to Dirtshooter's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Girlfriend and I shoot alot of 38 special. You got me worried so had to look at my stash. Looks like i will be ok unless China invades us. -
Just for information I am holding onto 4 boxes of 223 soft point that a member on here has spoken for. He is busy and only has one day off a week. He has to play catchup on that day. I was that person years ago so know the feeling. Do you think it's right if I charge him storage

Thank you for the responses and advice. He finally got back to me. He totally forgot. He wanted to reschedule but I told him now or don't bother me. He arived an hour later. All good. Now for the other two people, I guess I will forget them. If their number ever pops up I will let them have an earfull. Thank you again. Felt good to vent abit.

Is there a place to post someone's number warning people about the guy not showing up? This is the third time that it has happened to me in the last 2 months from different people. A place and a time is agreed upon. I show up and tex the person that I am there, color and make of vehicle but get no responce. They do not respond to texes. I grew up where a person was only as good as his word. What do you do in similiar situations?

Their website doesn't list the range of the rifle stations. Hopefully at least a 50 and a 100 yards. -

Thank you for the info. Last year around September I went there and it was closed. -
Ranges are closed around here(Seymour/Maryville) area. Oak Creek is open but reading the information it says you need to ne sponsored by a member. Any other ideas since I dont know anyone personally that is a member? The War Department is getting itchy to shoot.

REVIEW: Knoxville 2021 Gun Show
Nikiski Dave replied to CrosbyStills's topic in Events and Gatherings
Arrived Saturday morning at around 8:20. Line was around the building. Sat there for an hour, line got longer. Left. Came back at 8:30 Sunday, parked and was about 50th in line. Ammo prices were for the rich or uninformed. Found a couple of Ruger 10-22's that I was interested in. I really liked the one till I looked closer at the tag, $1100. Next one had about the same upgrades but $650. the others were stock ranging from $400 to $500. Went back to find the one for $650 and it was gone. Oh well. Found a couple of mags for brothers S&W, another mag for the UZI, Sight Mark reflex sight, ultra light bipod and 12 gauge buck shot at $2 a round. One guy asking $25 for 5 rounds . Went looking for 6.5 bullets for reloading but not a one. got crowded around 11 am. Prices seemed to be anywhere from 20% to 50% above what I was able to order online 6 months ago. Primers from $100 to $130 a thousand. Still have some money in my pocket, lol. I drive a pickup truck -
