Lived in Nikiski Alaska for 5 years. I use to carry a shotgun while fishing. One day I heard a big splash behind me. I turned around and had a yearling brown bear (140-160lbs) between my shotgun and me. I dont remember who was more surprised. After that I carried a 44 on my hip. I admit it was a pain in the ass but it was there. I learned about chest holsters late in life. 3 times in 5 years of logging, surveying and hunting is about average. I don't count the times i've come across bear tracks in the river bed filling up with water. Just turn around and go back.

If you havent picked up anything yet I could possibly borrow you my setup. Glock 20 with a red dot and a Hoskins chest holster depending where in the state you are in.

I have a Tikka synthetic stock without bottom metal that I painted with a rough texture paint. 2 long action mags. A 30 06 barre that only has 20 rounds out of it. 2 boxes of Remington ammo. Asking $125 for it all it trade on 22 mag and or 10mm ammo. Seymour area.

I watch the News on TV once a day. I feel that I am watching Soap Operas. That is how I get entertained. Cant wait to get out to hunt camp and see the real world.

I have been playing around with the 35 for awhile. I currently use a 1961 in 35 Rem. I reload 200 gr bullets for deer and hogs. Clean that gun and it should work for you. Otherwise In south Knox the gunsmith at the Armory will strip it down and clean it for you.

Bump for a good rifle and cartridge.

2010 18' Weekend Warrior Supercross Toy hauler. Will either haul 2 dirt bikes, 1 full size dresser type bike or a Yamaha Rhino with a 2" lift. Queen pull down bed, fold from the wall xl twin bed. Large front bathroom. First the bad. Needs new awning fabric, couches were removed before I purchased it. The good, everything works. Roof resealed last year. Tires are recent, batteries good, 2 burner stove and a conventional oven which I don't understand. I use it for the micro wave. Forgot to add, a Generac 2000 generator , tv, towing system and 2 teton xl folding cots go with it. Looking for $8000. Will possibly accept a ATV/UTV partial trade. for-trade Henry Lever in 22 Mag

I have put a couple of scratches on this rifle. It was not meant to ride in the buggy with me. I am looking to trade for an experienced truck/buggy gun. I really would rather not beat this rifle up. It likes the CCI 36 gr vs the Winchester 40gr. I am sorry if I wasn't clear, trade for another 22 mag that I won't cry about if it gets scratched and muddy chasing pigs.
