  1. How is it that limiting a guns capacity is beloved by liberals but limiting the term of politicians is not? I know which one is far more dangerous!

  5. What will be accomplished is four things: 1) eliminate small businesses in the gun industry and criminalize what were otherwise lawful businesses 2) this in turn helps big businesses already in the gun biz where $2k is an irrelevant expense 3) ultimately reduce creativity and innovation 4) give obama and the dems a talking point that he has "done something" about guns
  6. PS: this is "guidance" which until challenged will be used as force of law...guess whats cheaper? $2250 itar fee or going to court?
  7. No lawyer needed for that. You are not selling them commercially- which is what this applies to - businesses
  8. Registration for the "production of firearm parts" is a complete over reach and will eliminate the creative entrepreneurs who make up so much of the gun world. Want to produce a new trigger design? Pay $2250 every year. Want to make custom gun stocks? Pay $2250. Want to make a grip? $2250. What is not a firearm part? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Making stocks now requires $2250 ITAR registration and more Bs State Dpt "guidance" http://pmddtc.state.gov/compliance/Applicability%20of%20the%20ITAR%20Registration%20Requirement%20to%20Firearms%20Manufacturers%20(Publish).pdf
  10. Sounds interesting See many Milsurps? Are prices realistic or gun show crazy?
  11. Brand new expo center will be a nice space. Now we have to hope some guns show up instead of jerky and tasers Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. That is correct- they have a code on them ( forgot the acronym) that is needed. ORI code maybe? Perhaps you can call them and see if you can put their code on the popo's form?
  13. That is correct. The form 1 is "making an SBR". The info on bbl length etc is simply data to the batf - they could care less. If you really want to cover your butt then send them a note updating then on the latest status of your sbr, but really not necessary
  14. Crap - looks like i missed it. No longer $58
  15. If you can ever find it, The Van Winkle Family Reserve Rye is perfection in a bottle
  16. They should rename the headlines Terror attack in france on Bastille Day Or for the completely ignorant: Islamic Terrorists attack French on their Independence Day
  17. For light tasks i have a stihl ms170. Great lightweight limbi g saw - high rpm and good on small trees For big work i use a 290 farmboss 18". It weighs more so i tend to use it less and only for bucking already fallen logs generally
  18. I go to downtown chicago on biz several times a year - great restaurants - never felt any worry - plenty of gunbuster signs on the doors of businesses. Must be safe, right?![emoji48] I still do like NYC better
