  1. Sounds a tad high to me too I would think $400-ish would be pushing it.
  2. That's what they make card games for. Get the hell out of there for a while. Let her steam a bit.. she'll be txt'n ya in no time.. lol
  3. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!
  4. +1 Fallon is total duche. Bores me to death. Absolutly no personality at all. I can't EVEN stand to listen to him interview anyone. How the hell he got on TV is behond me. I'm not even gonna mention the monolog.... OMFG he stinks! However, Leno should have retired and givin the spot to O'Brian. If he wants to continue his career he should move to Cable. He can start his own HotRod channel.
  5. Yeah advanced changes it but not in the index. Still shows the original tho.
  6. No problem just let me know. You'll want to pick up a hard drive first tho. best place I have found is Tigerdirect. Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB Hard Drive - 7200, 16MB, ATA-100, OEM at TigerDirect.com
  7. I was gonna start a new thread for this but thought I would use an old one. Back in 02 a good friend of mine bought me a Tivo for christmas with a lifetime subscription. I didn't know what it was and was like, umm thanks?? Little did I know my life was changed FOREVER..... I have no idea how to live without one today. I just wouldn't watch TV at all. Today I have 3 series 2 models which have all been upgraded several times over the years to handle more recordings. The last time I upgraded them was about 3 years ago. I installed 160gb drives and replaced the fans. This week I decided to again go for a upgrade. I ordered 3 500gb drives from Tiger and a couple of fans... (they get noisy after a while).. I used to keep an old pc around to do this type of thing with but after I moved last year I canned just about all my old hardware. OMG I should have never done this.. You need a minimum of 4 standard IDE ports to do a reliable backup and upgrade. The newer computers have one if your lucky.. everything is SATA.. Arrrg!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So after hitting up a couple of buddies I managed to get the hardware needed to complete the upgrade.. I'm on the last one.... and thought if anyone else wanted an upgrade (while I have all this crap) I would offer to do it at no charge... So... if you have a series two.. tired of being out of space... and willing to come to me.... drop me a line.. This is a limited time offer as my wifes office is scattered with crap from this and she's not gonna put up with it vary long.... Anyway... Long Live TIVO!
  8. What more can you expect from an ass clown.
  9. See that's just it. im my mind if I drop a dime or better on a gun. I better not have to keep at it.. that's just nutz! Total :poop: SA should go back to the drawing board on this one.
  10. the only diff is a long gun can be purchased from a out of state ffl. handguns can't. they have to be purcahsed from or transfered to a ffl in your home state.
  11. edit: No.. Anyhting out of state requires FFL.
  12. are we bored?

    S&W M&P headache...

The way I see it. This is typically why we pay "possible" premiums dealing with local shops. It's for the relationship, not the out the door price. People assume there's no risk buying items wherever they can get the best deal when in all actuallity they are. In this situation if the gun had come from a local shop.. we wouldn't even be hearing about this.

    Sigma .40

if it turns into a turd send it to S&W for repair. I keep one in my night stand so I bet my life on a SW40VE every single night! Well over a 1000 rounds in this one and has never FTF FTE or failed to go boom nor hit where I didn't AIM. i dunno who could ask for more..

    Sigma .40

I have had probably about 10 run through my hands over the past several years.. sold most of them here.. still own two! a 9mm and a .40 For the price... You ain't gettin nuttin any better then a sigma. PERIOD! As for reliablilty... I would put an out of the box sigma against any other "out of the box" pistol. Period. Triger schmiger.. boo hoo.. everyone has their opinions, likes, dislikes, etc.. but the sigma is a low price reliable pistol.

    gotta be said

1200 baud... puh!.. I remember the days of 300 baud. When I got my first 1200 I thought I was grease lightning...
  17. only a nincompoop would trust their life to a .22, I always thought they were made for only one reason.. plinking..
  18. I started my girls early handling firearms. I think around 10. I started them on a .22 revolver, then to a 22 rifle, then to every other caliber incrementing in size & recoil until they could shoot anything they wanted. Start out with the safty stuff first, then maintenance & care, then off to the range if they are still interested. even today.. the look on my daughters faces when shooting my AR pistol is priceless!! any the youngest is 20 now.
  19. LMAO... good stuff!

    Simply Amazing!

wow.. all i can say is wow...
  21. I had one that wouldn't shoot anything but stingers until I sent it back. they have a good warranty.. then it fired anyhting. My second one shot anything right from the start.
  22. so why didn't the idiot load the mag with them. so yea it's a single shot. dumb ass. lol
  23. Pick up a Kahr PM45 and let us know how ya like it..

    PM9 Thoughts?

I ran 200 rounds of target ammo thru it and then 40 rounds of the SD ammo without a single issue. That's good enough for me.
