  1. I started reloading on my father's RCBS press when I was a kid. When I married and moved out, I bought Lee reloading tools because they were inexpensive. Fast forward 25 years, except for a few exceptions, I'm still using Lee products, not because of economy anymore, but because I see no need in upgrading. They work! I don't wish to discourage you, but you've picked a terrible time to begin reloading, as supplies are not to be found at this time. Don't fret, however, this will pass. We've seen it before, and we'll see it again.
  2. Anybody know if anyone in Middle Tennessee has them in stock?
  3. Have you been to Dixie Gun Works in Union City yet? If not, it'll be worth your drive. Be sure to check out the old museum in there. They've let it run down, but there's still some really neat stuff in there.
  4. http://www.lebanongunshop.com/services.html The Lebanon Gun Shop offers reloading classes. I second the recommendation of buying 'The ABC's of Reloading" and reading it before buying anything else.
  5. Thanks guys! If amy of you happen to run into a nice one for sale for what the consensus is a fair price, I’d appreciate it if you’d steer me in that direction. Although a few years newer, one just got posted here in the classifieds for $14,500.
  6. Where is the money coming from?
  7. You drove from Dover to Lebanon to attend a gun show? Now there's dedication!
  8. This thread went differently than I would have guessed. Maybe the fire for Jeeps is just local to my hometown. Thanks for the help!
  9. Buy a quality gun safe.
  10. That's what I would tell them when they called begging for money. Call back when LaPierre is gone. You'd think if enough of us did that, someone would see the writing on the wall. I guess not. It seems they've just stopped calling.
  11. I guess I'll just fish or bowl or something.
  12. I’m sure those are great trucks, but not really what he’s after. As I said, he already has a good full size truck.
  13. Well this is a 17 year old kid. He isn’t interested in an suv. He really wants a Mustang, but insurance costs are prohibitive. He’s currently driving a Z71 Chevy. It’s nicer than a Jeep by every metric. I think he likes the manual transmission. His brother has a Tacoma. One those would work, but they are pretty much unobtainable.
  14. You don’t sound like a Jeep giuy.
  15. Thanks for the report.
  16. I found that a bit odd as well, Erik. It was clean and rust free underneath. Paint not faded. It has been taken care of. These folks had another Jeep set up for mudding. I think this one was just a daily driver.
  17. Just went and looked at a 2000 Jeep my kid is wanting to purchase. It has about 100k miles and just had a new 4 cylinder engine installed. I was expecting it to be junk, but was surprised that it is actually pretty nice. Everything works. Runs and drives out good. No leaks. Good body and factory paint. Clean underneath like it hasn't been off road much. I'm not a Jeep guy. Is $8650 out of line for a decent Jeep? Is there anything in particular I should look for?
  18. How much are you looking for?
  19. Welcome to TGO from Macon County. We country folk were prepping when prepping wasn't cool.
  20. Were you closer, I'd be happy for you to bring it over. I'm sure you can do it if I can.
  21. The medical industry is like amy other. It exists to make money. I would not have it any other way, but that’s how it is.
  22. No kidding! Where’s that cancer vaccine?
  23. You must not be married.
  24. Sometimes doing the right thing works out.
