  1. Here's a 92 Rossi in 357mag/38spl. Sure is fun to shoot.
  2. It was a very small show. About 1/3 the size of the last one there. I did find a couple of neat rifles, however.
  3. I always said that, but alas, now i own some I've not shot....and probably won't.
  4. So the people are figuring out how to hit the "single", so now the government is going to add to the challenge by presenting "doubles"?
  5. The last one was pretty good. I was impressed at the number and quality of the vendors for a first show. I fear some won't return, however, because the ones I spoke with said business was pretty slow. There were several people there Saturday, but very few on Sunday. I guess more lookers than buyers.
  6. I believe these are some that were sold in the spring. http://jamesdjulia.com/auctions/div_catalog_320_sh.asp
  7. Most of these shouldn't be fired in my opinion. They are irreplaceable American history and should be preserved.
  8. It would get their attention...if not, it would be a good start to allow water access to the offending countries.
  9. He had great taste and a poop load of money.
  10. Lord, I hope there isn't a law!
  11. Here's my proposal for a U.S. response.
  12. This is the SECOND aucion I've seen this year that comprised guns from his collection. The first was equally amazing. http://jamesdjulia.com/auctions/div_catalog_327.asp?pageREQ=1
  13. Well stated, Erik!
  14. No. They look like an industrial piece of machinery to me. I had not interest whatsoever in one. My boys asked if we could get one to shoot. After we got it, I'll have to say it sure is fun! It still isn't pretty to me, however.
  15. I'd keep an eye out for an old, pinned barrel model 19 Smith and Wesson. Model 66 if you prefer stainless.
  16. Looks great! I really like the grips. It is the swirly pattern you see on a lot of rifle bolts. Think little circles in a pattern.
  17. Got a saw?
  18. Bush was a fiscal liberal by any measure. He was the biggest spender in the history of our country...until he was later outspent by Obama. I give you the medicare prescription plan, bailouts, etc. He aligned with my views on a lot of issues; but not on economics. I do readily admit Al Gore would have been incalculably worse in every way.
  19. That is correct. As long as we reward the Republican party with votes for the turds they foist upon us, that is all we'll continue to get. A socialist with an "R" isn't much of an improvement over a socialist with a "D" in my opinion. That's why we all get to vote I guess.
  20. I have virtually no foresight, but I do believe in the old adage that says if you don't know history, you are doomed to repeat it.
  21. Yup. That's how we still have Obamacare. Let me know how that works out for you in a couple of years.
  22. I was assured that Bush would make sound Supreme Court nominations. That really turned out well, didn't it? You guys have talked yourselves into supporting a liberal! There just no way around that fact. As long as you do this just because there's an "R" behind his name, you'll continue to get what you deserve.
  23. ...and there's our best case scenerio.
  24. If that's the case, then you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
  25. The only way I see Obama losing is if Romney's tour bus goes off a cliff, and Ryan isn't on it so he is still here to continue the campaign. I've heard Rush Limbaugh say the Elmer Fudd could beat Obama this election. I believe that. It is a shame the Republicans couldn't choose a candidate as electable as Mr. Fudd.
