  1. I'd buy some ammo and shoot it. You may have a different opinion on what to do after that.
  2. If you know much about cars and their values, you can usually pick one up if you keep an eye out, clean and detail it, and flip it for a 20% profit pretty quick if you know what you're doing....I don't! One could also likely take 5 grand to a gunshow and come home with 6....again, if you know what you're looking for.
  3. DO the trigger yourself. I'm not very talented at doing anything, but I had no trouble getting my mini14 trigger smooth and light. There are some very good how to videos on you tube. You'll save the money, and learn quite a bit about your rifle too.
  4. You could build it out of block, and line it with fire brick.
  5. Use fire brick. Concrete degrades very quickly under the heat of fire.
  6. Something about being stored in a drawer....my pants do the same thing!
  7. I bought a Leek with G10 scales a week or so ago. For what it is, so far, I'm very pleased with it.
  8. I believe the op asked for calibers. It is very common to own multiple guns for any given chambering.
  9. I give up. What is the attraction to this thing? It looks like something attached to a video game with a cord.

  11. It was made from nylon. I bought it from a guy on 24hourcampfire.com. He was making and selling them, complete with flashlight. I don't know if he still makes them or not. It's pretty handy.
  12. I forgot about the priming tool shellholders. I'd suggest buying the entire set of them, as you'll then have a handy case to keep them all together and organized.
  13. I find enough variation in case lengths, even among unfired, new brass, that I find trimming to a consistant length gives a more consistant crimp. Probably not necessary, but it sure doesn't hurt.
  14. There is way too much money and political capital at stake to ever abandon racism. Just ask Jessie Jackson or Al Sharpton. They've both made quite a living from it.
  15. Is it now? Where did you come up with that train of thought?
  16. I just finished this one up a few days ago. I've been wearing it, and regularly forget it's there.
  17. You hear a lot of folks badmouthing them, but man I love my WASR!! Maybe I just got lucky.
  18. A lot of the snow melted quickly here today, as temps were in the upper 30's. My yard is still white, however.
  19. His reasoning would be that it takes such a small amount for a correct charge that there is more than enough room left in the case to put in a double or even triple charge. If you are observant enough to refrain from doing that, Bullseye is a great powder for light to midrange target loads. I would like to make a few suggestions. I would encourage you to purchase a Lee chamfer tool, cutter, and lock stud. Then as you purchase dies, also purchase a case length length guage and shell holder to go with these, so you can trim the cases to length. You'll also soon want an inertia bullet puller, tumbler, and related accessories. As far as dies go, I actually prefer the Lee dies to their more expensive competition. For straight walled handgun calibers, carbide sizing dies are worth their weight in gold, as they don't require lubricating the cases before sizing.

We got a good 3" here in Macon county today. How bout you?
  21. Sir, I am all for helping people in need. Could you expound upon the reason that a hardworking family cannot afford a vehicle? If so, I'd be happy to help.
  22. Bolt gun-Model 70 Winchester Lever-Model 99 Savage. Why? They are, in my opinion, the very best in their catergories.
  23. No. He was just walking around, looking when I saw him. Looking, and talking with various people, just like everyone else.
  24. I saw this guy walking around the gun show in Hendersonville today! I spoke to hime breifly. Semms like a nice enough guy to me.
  25. Fair show. I sold a shotgun, and didn't buy a thing.
