  1. If something happens and sale falls through I would like to be next in line. That is a Great looking piece.
  2. My favorite to plink steel at the range is a Glock 34, most fun to feel the power is a 10mm Glock 20 and smoothest shooting is Dan Wesson 1911 Commander Bobtail.
  3. Thank Your service and Welcome to TGO and Tennessee!
  4. 1. No manual safety. 2. Reliable. 3. accurate. 4. Double stack mags. 5. Good natural point ability. 6. Not a feature but still important, know your firearm, shooting it needs to be second nature. Bad things happen fast and you won’t have a lot of time to think about what you are doing.
  5. As others have said I prefer to conceal carry so that most people would never know I am. I usually buy my shirts a little long and carry IWB with leather at 4-5:00, and a double mag holder at 7-8:00. I wear a ratchet belt and it is easy to adjust to whatever tension is needed holding the holster/ pistol snug. Very rarely I’ll wear a shoulder rig setup but prefer the other.
  6. My EDC is a Glock 23 and I usually carry 2 extra mags. I like the size and power of the .40 if my life were on the line. Usually about once a year ish I shoot the rounds I have been carrying and maybe one or two more boxes and reload with fresh ammo. On my typical range days I shoot either a Glock 19 or 34 just because ammo is cheaper. I also mix in shooting a Glock 20 10mm but only carry it if I am I the woods and might need to protect myself against hog/ bear..... hope that never happens. All are really fun to shoot.
  7. Clean setup, really nice.
  8. That all sounds chaotic, crazy and like a lot of fun. I can’t even imagine killing a hog with a knife, that would get the adrenaline flowing for real as well as the close kills.
  9. That was a very informative article. Well done.
  10. That looks like a handy setup. I have been thinking about getting one like that for my Glock 20.
  11. I really like the look of those paint jobs. makes me want to make a trip to HD and do some experimenting. Well done.
  12. A p95DC 9mm was my first pistol. I have put too many rounds to count through it and so far have never had a problem with it. They are built like a tank and when the hammer is back that single action trigger is nice.
  13. I have been fascinated with the .458 Socom, who doesn’t like shooting a thumper. And I bet it is really fun to put some rounds down range. As far as setup I would try to keep it as lightweight as possible with prob 16” barrel and low zoom scout type scope or similar. As far as color it depends, I prefer flat colors and some type of camo pattern if you plan to hunt a lot with it. Whereas if you just want to take it to the range a few times could leave black or a theme paint would be cool.
  14. Hello, I have enjoyed and read these forums for a long time and finally decided to join. I have lived in East TN most of my life. I have been shooting close to 30 years and really like shooting steel targets, well really any day spent shooting is a great one.
