  1. Old Thread but still important.  Anyone planting this spring?  I thought about trying out Durana clover then drilling in some Penningtons feedin frenzy for the fall.  First time food plotter, been watching the management advantage and growingdeer.tv trying to get some tips.
  2. I've got an extra AAC blackout 51T I'll sell you.   http://www.advanced-armament.com/BLACKOUT-51T-Flash-Hider_p_447.html
  3. I have a question for someone smarter than me... I just moved into a house and am having issues with the cable.    There is one cable that comes into the garage into the smart box where it has a splitter.  From this the cable goes into the living room and master bedroom, that's it.  I have a HD box in the living room and a splitter there that I connect my internet router too.  In the master bedroom I have a small digital transceiver, I think they call it a DTA?  Here is the funny thing.  I essentially have three connections; router, cable box and digital transceiver.  If I have all three set up in the above configuration I get TV on my HD box and my internet but I get an error message on the DTA in my bedroom TV that says "We have detected interruption in your service."  If I take the splitter off the living room and have the cable go straight to the HD box and no router both the HDTV in living room and the DTA in bedroom work.  If I place the router in the master bedroom with a splitter I get TV on both but no internet.  I know the wire to the bedroom is good, I just paid to have that one run.   Does anyone have ideas on how to do this?  Right now I am just running the apple TV off my bedroom TV so I can have the HD box and internet.
  4. http://ar15armory.com/forums/topic/123905-savage-hog-hunter/     Check out the third post down, this is a cool setup  http://www.ar15.com/archive/topic.html?b=6&f=5&t=383806
  5. Go big or go home, this is the nicest setup I've seen.  This is my wishlist...   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ep5Jv2XJsl0
  6. I kept the synthetic stock on mine because after I added a blackout flash hider, Nikon Buckmasters mil-dot, cheek riser and triad tactical stock pad it got real heavy for hunting.  I may upgrade one day and put new bottom metal with a detachable box mag but thats more money and more weight that I dont need right now.
  7. Thanks guys, I also checked out Franklin Gun shop, On Target, another Dicks and Academy, Wal-Mart, the saddle shop, Lock stock and barrel all with no luck.  As much as I hate it I picked it up from Buds.  I've heard some bad reviews from them but being that nobody has it in stock or is willing to order it for me without it being $150 more than Buds price I just went with it.  I'll let you know how it goes.
  8. I'm looking to pick up a muzzle loader for whitetail hunting and have been looking around.  Bass Pro, Dicks, Academy, Outpost Armory, Nashville Armory, and Guns and Leather don't seem to carry the T/C Triumph I'm looking for.  I've heard great things about the rifle but can't seem to find anyone who has one to look at or who is willing to order it.  So what do you all recommend or where do you recommend I pick one up at?  I looked at the Vorteks but seem to like the T/C's better   Buds has it but the shipping they saw could take a few weeks which I dont have time to wait for.   http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/53081
  9. Thanks Joe, I'll check it out.  That was the one thing I didnt like about the Mittleider thing.
  10. Anyone tried the Mittleider garden method?  Ive seen some good things on YouTube about it but wasnt sure how practical it was
  11. I'm happy to see it coming back, picked up some subsonics!  Thanks for posting about the availability
  12. Anyone know the stock days/times for WM at Cool Springs, Nashville by Bell Rd, and Murfreesboro? Gonna try my luck standing in one of these lines, gonna try to get a brick of Federal 22
  13. I like it, I couldn't get any BUIS to fit under my Nikon M223 with the Leupold 1 piece mount...Maybe it was because of the all steel sights I was trying - I'll have to try out the magpul ones.  Is your red dot on a 45?
  14. Was this a .308? If so PM me what you found works best in your hand loads. I've made some subsonic loads for mine but haven't tested loads to increase my accuracy
  15. This is what I went with and topped it with a Nikon Buckmaster 3-18x40 mil dot from Midway.  I love how short and light it is and it was already threaded for my suppressor.     http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/78093
  16. I went with the Nikon Buckmaster in Mildot.  Watch Midway because they will run a special to get it around 300 with free shipping.   https://www.midwayusa.com/product/123107?cm_vc=S014
  17. Anyone have photos of their comm system at home? I have a CB in my truck and some Motorola walkies but that's it. I'd like to pick up a handheld HAM and get my licensce but as its been said here before you shouldnt rely just on the handheld unit. I'd like to get an antenna and CB for the house and start working on the HAM stuff to add to it. Any suggestions there?
  18. What fox pro caller are you using? I've been into trapping but think I want to start calling them in. There are just so many different one and they can get real expensive real fast
  19. What don't you like about the M223? I was thinking about getting one for my AR "coyote" gun
  20. Can't you use a sonic cleaner or something for the sealed .22 cans?
  21. I have called n2bikes twice and left messages both times, they would be the closest to me. Still looking around
  22. Reading the KLR fourms these 250 bikes are notorious for needing the valves adjusted. I have already cleaned the carb twice and its still performing badly. Also this bike is the shimmed design and requires .009" feeler. As stated above I could do it and take half a day but Id rather take it to someone who can knock it out quick and know that its right. I dont really want to spend $400 on a service cause I only spent $800 on the bike! haha KlR 250 valve ticking after adjustment - KLR650.NET - Your Kawasaki KLR650 Resource! - The Original KLR650 Forum!
  23. I am looking for someone knowledgeable on 4 strokes to do a valve adjustment on my 91 KLR 250. Its basically brand new and hasn't had a service. I bought it with 1400 miles on it and have been having a hard time kick starting it, after some google work found that the valves are the typical culprit. Kawasaki wants ~$400 to do a service on it and I was hoping to find someone around Nashville might be able to check it out for me. Anyone on he into this stuff or can recommended someone would be appreciated!
