  1. Throw a Tapco G2 trigger in it and you'll be ready to go.
  2. Ace M4 Socom is my favorite, its really really sturdy. I have seen the CTR break when bumped against the ground trapping a guys finger in it on youtube, the top MagPul guy replaced his stock but told him if he wants a stock that can handle abuse to get the UBR which I also have and enjoy.
  3. I have the Savage 110 FCP HS Precision in 338 Lapua Mag and it was I think $1250 OTD, I was originally waiting to get the 110 FCP HS in 300 win mag but they took to long to release it, Budsgunshop(Online Store) has the 110 HS in 300 Win Mag for $952 shipping is free so it would be whatever your ffl charges you for the transfer plus BG check which for me would be $982 roughly OTD. By the way at buds the Model 10 FCP HS 308 is the same price as the 110 in 300 win mag (They have both in stock).
  4. Nice Im thinking of picking one of these up as well.
  5. No matter what caliber 9,40,45, I hope you make sure its a Glock. But as others have stated best thing to do would be rent a couple top name's and test them out for yourself.
  6. I had a doe at my place that went on with 3 legs for years, she even managed to breed and have babies every year. Watching her run around there wasnt anything that made me want to put her down she seemed fine. If its a fresh injusry sure they might be falling down a little at first but if they are anything alike they can probably get use to the problem and go about living as they normally would, or atleast thats what happened in my case.
  7. They are machines made by man, there is not a firearms maker that isnt going to release a dud every now and again, it wasnt long ago that I purchased a $2,300 Bushmaster ACR went to shoot it and immediately had to send it back to the factory for repairs. I have 4 Arsenals and they have always performed above and beyond what I expected them to. It does suck knowing their customer service isnt up to par,Ive always been told to stay away from HK as well due to their customer service but I buy their products just the same, and I have never personally had a problem with HK or Arsenal.
  8. Guns&Leather in Greenbrier hands down the best IMO.
  9. All of my Glocks are extremely accurate, they shoot just as good as guns I have/had that cost 3-6 times as much. Thats comparing them to Nighthawks,HK Usp Tactical's/MK23's,CZ 75 Tactical Sports,EAA Witness Limited. All of that being said I typically change the triggers out in my Glocks, once the trigger is a little lighter and alot more crisp they become laser beams in my hands. Unfortunately I do not have ANY experience with the 357 models so Im not going to be of any help there.
  10. It doesnt mean that Arsenal doesnt put out good stuff,it simply means their customer service isnt where people would like, I own 4 Arsenals and will continue to buy their products personally as long as they make quality firearms that I love.
  11. I wish DSA's didnt cost so much I would sure love to have one, for some reason I have a hard time spending $1,600-$2,000 on a FAL.
  12. It was new but they would NEVER do that, once I found Guns and Leather in Greenbrier I have never gone to any other in state store to purchase firearms. Their customer service is above and beyond that of any other business I have dealt with(Firearms or not). Plus the firearm I returned was more of an unusual gun and they only had that one in stock and from what I have seen it was the only one they ever had, and I never saw it again. There was no way the gun could be passed off as new anyways,it had been fired a few times both when I shot it and when I took it back to G&L Ben took it down to the range and shot it to see if he could address the problem, not to mention it did not cycle at ALL.
  13. Yes G&L took a return on a gun I bought from them a few years back not sure if they still do or not,I bought the gun lets say on a Friday night tried shooting it the following morning didnt work so immediately took it back, they let me put my money on a different firearm.
  14. I got a refund(Minus Taxes) a few years back from G&L
  15. Maybe you could always make another video explaining your ordeal, make it a video response to one of that Nutnfancy dudes video's push your purchase of the Arsenal and they great quality and customer service off on his Arsenal video's and maybe, just maybe he might actually see it and might just give Arsenal a call for you. Now the odds of that working are rather slim I know but he and those guys seem to be pretty close.
  16. I have the Savage 110 HS Precision in 338 Lapua, started to go with the BA but couldnt justify that much extra money for the chassis, anyways it shoots like a dream,Savage really has their stuff together here lately it seems. I too take my 110 out to Montgomery County Shooting complex from time to time, but every time I pull the trigger and watch everybody jump I cant help but to feel like a dick lol, to avoid the angry masses at the range I typically shoot my 110 on my cousins land where I can stretch it out to a little over 1,200 yards, its an easy 1moa rifle and thats with me not having much experience past 600. Also you would be shocked at how little recoil my 338 has the factory muzzle brake does wonders, I would say its recoil is the same as a non braked 308 bolt gun or possibly less, but you are right about the ammo, I shoot the 285 gr Hornady Match out of mine which is some of the cheaper stuff and it runs around $90 a box.
  17. I have the RS1 and was told not to leave it cocked over 10 minutes
  18. I bought a Bushmaster ACR Enhanced from Buds around a month or so ago, they had just got the rifle in stock and in the system when I bought it, I get it home go out to shoot and the charging handle was reciprocating, wtf was my first thought I new the problem existed on the old ones so I take a look at the serial and it was number 200, I could not figure out how the #200 gun has been floating around BRAND NEW for all these years, and I had to be the one that ends up with it and had to send it back for repairs(Took just under 2 weeks to get it back from Bushmaster). Im sorry about the problems you are having with your Arsenal, mine have always been great and every body seems to love theirs but they are destin to spit out a lemon now and again, unfortunately you ended up with it. I hope you can get the issue solved and have many years and thousands of rounds of enjoyment out of it.
  19. I like my piston, I have just seen TOP DOLLAR DI guns fail wwwaaaayyy to much for my liking, that being said I have had a ton of DI Ar's and never any Major problems but then again I never ran them hard, I have ran my piston AR very hard and have yet to have any problems from it, my only complaint as of yet is if you shoot with your thumb looped over the top near the front sight post while shooting it gets extremely hot,not quite AK hot but hot enough you do not want to keep your thumb there without gloves.
  20. Go to Montgomery County Shooting Complex in Clarksville,if you do infact want longer ranges. They have your typical 25-100 yard targets at one station, and 200,300,400 yard targets at the next station beside it. They have handgun and shotgun stations as well but never shot on them. Bring your own paper targets,or you will need to buy some in the shop there.
  21. Good thing they dont cost $500 more then... Arsenals are excellent guns I have had 4 and currently have 3, sgl21's and sgl31's. Mine are extremely accurate, as a matter of fact the reason I got rid of one of my SGL21's is because a good friend of mine shot it and offered to trade me his LNIB Ruger SR-556c with a Timney Trigger, and a Surfire scout light on it even, funny thing is I kind of regret trading.
  22. I live on a small farm and have 3 Doberman Pinschers and our barn is swarming with these things, my dogs will actually wait for the bees to hover and then they will jump up and catch them in their mouths, its probably one of the funniest things I have ever witnessed, even though I have seen them do it 100's of times it still makes me bust out laughing when they actually get one. Once they get one in their mouths they immediately start shaking their head and trying to spit it out, then one of the other dogs will pick it up and do the same. I always figured they have either been lucky and magically never got stung or the sting must not be that bad for them to have continued doing it over the years.
  23. The way I see it is if I call 911 I really dont see an immediate threat, if there is what I take to be an immediate threat the last thing Im going to do is try to be focusing on what someone over the phone is trying to tell me, Im sure we have all been scared enough at one point in our lives to where that survival instinct starts to kick in,hearing and vision enhances you start looking and listening for the slightest movements and sounds and the last thing I want during that is someone on a phone asking me a bunch of questions, hell I bet while you're in that state of mind the operator would sound like they were talking through a loud speaker.
