  1. It looks a lot like many other posts I've seen here except I could read this one.
  2. This is pretty much the same as asking if I would keep my wife.  Asset or liability?  What if it came down to a choice between my dog or my wife?
  3. NASCAR?  Are they still around?  There's better racing at the local dirt tracks.
  4. Well, I was on board until I saw it was a single shot.
  5. Honestly, I thought most people carry in a holster.  If they were to check my backpack, they may find a laptop or a phone, certainly both potentially dangerous in the wrong hands, but they'd miss my gun completely.  Not that it impacts me at all.  Hollywood hasn't made a movie in years that I've been willing to pay to see.
  6. I had a glass blowing kit, a chemistry set, and a steam engine.  Three out of the eight and I livied.  Not to mention lawn darts, although I seem to recall them called Jarts, and several water rockets.  I also had a rocket that used vinegar and baking soda for propulsion.  Fun but messy.
  7. Happy Independence Day.
  8. Thanks for the chuckle CNN   http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/cnn-mistakes-sex-toy-flag-805574
  9. I think I'm more confused now than I was before.  I'm wondering if I need to shave my beard off.
  10. My childhood memory of the family doctor was that he was the guy that showed up at our house with a black bag whenever I got sick.
  11. Sorry, I just came out from under my rock.  What the heck is a hipster?  Is this like a gay hippie?  How would I recognize a hipster if I saw one?
  12. At the end of some commercials, I'm left wondering what the product is that I'm supposed to buy.  Whatever happened to "here's my product, it's great, buy it".
  13. Rest in peace.  He had a good run.
  14. No treat makes my dogs more excited than good old American made pork skins.
  15. Somebody probably saw me in the woods wearing my shemagh.
  16.   I had to Google that.  That's not what we called it when I was young.
  17. I thought I had heard something like that as well.
  18. I rarely open videos that have been posted but I decided this may be worth investing a couple of minutes.  I watched it twice.
  19.   There's some truth there.  I spent over six months getting my first car, a 64 Impala 2 door, (I bought with my own money that I earned) mechanically road ready before I was old enough to get my license.  Yep, I rebuilt my first engine at 15 years old.  I did great driving until the first night I was hauling several of my friends around.  I think the words I heard were "hit the gas, see if you can make it slide!"  It slid.  I then got my introduction into doing my own body work.  Fortunately, only the car suffered injuries that night.
  20. We had a pit bull when my kids were young.  My kids entered him in a local dog show in Grayson County Texas.  He won a second place ribbon in the friendliest dog category.  He was a great dog and was always good with kids.  And I miss him.
  21. I watched Snake Salvation when it was on cable.  After the series, the preacher from Middlesboro was bit and died.
  22. $30 for the C&R that you will most likely recoup on the first item you purchase and have sent to your door with no transfer fees.  A CZ-82 was my first purchase.  A SKS is another C&R firearm everyone should have.
  23. The behind the scenes video is pretty interesting too.
