A father and son actually run the place (Robert, and Robert, or the Bobs) Bob Jr. is super nice and very friendly (put a sight on for free for me), Bob Sr. is really nice too, just doesn't talk all that much. The other older guy thats always there is a prick and a half, but he really entertains me. I try not to talk to him at all but I always listen to how he talks to other customers both in the shop and on the phone = hilarious. I can't think of his name but he's a mean ole codger. I do all my transfers there as its the closest shop to me and they do it at a reasonable price (25-30 total).

Now you need to buy some more of them and join the glock owners group page here on tgo and your all set. My first glock was a g23 about 7 years ago, it replaced my xd40 that I couldn't bring myself to like. I now have a 19, 34, and a 35.

Replace the G26 or buy the Remington 700sps tacticla
jeremy155rr replied to Links2k's topic in General Chat
What do you mean by "replace my gen3 g26 with night sights"? I don't quite understand, did you sell it and either a.)want another one or b.)use the money for the rem700?...but fwiw I say get the rifle. Looking at your sig line(s) it would complete your arsenal so to speak. I've always been a 'the 19 and 26 aren't that different' guy but if you wanted a 26 you could trade your 19 for it. 4 handguns 1 shotgun 1 ar = get the rifle -

Please don't make this personal, and those two things have absolutely nothing in common. Now if I said, "hey lets put this guy in a jury where the defendant isn't white." That would be comparable to your statement. Bottom line is dude is racist and off his rocker for talking about ensuring the survival of the white race (imo, because i'm not racist and don't think the white race is facing extinction). However he's not organizing a lynch mob to clean up the streets of L.A. You were right, he's racist and associated with neo-nazi groups, thumbs up for you dude. And btw i'm completely done with this thread so please don't address me if you can help it. Somone once told me that arguing over the internet was like competing in the special olympics, you might win, but your still...(I know thats cruel but). -
I've met none. Those grouping are fabulous man. You want better than that your getting into the science of the accuracy game. Breathing control, trigger control, and sight picture. So you have a couple strays with the .22. Without those it appears to be close to a 1" group assuming thats a 2x2 square. Scoure the interwebz for bullseye competition tips, theres probably some good tips on here from tgo members as well.

JT Ready might have 'race issues' but the border patrolling, security of our borders from illegal immigrants and drug traffickers is not a race issue. Its a homeland security issue. Ken made his point plain as day going so far as to say that JT's is apparently racist but that is not in fact the issue. I don't see how you could turn that around. -
the rtf2 is the same as the rtf minus the fishgills iirc.

Don't know... I see what your driving at, but in all honesty they don't need any help driving away business. I imagine any contact made would go like this; Your range fees are insanely expensive compared to your competitors, have you given any thought to lowering them to a reasonable rate? Well we're in Maryville, we don't have competition. Don't like our rates? Drive to Knoxville, and good luck shooting that rifle anywhere thats not outdoors. Personally I don't blame them if people are paying it. If their membership numbers or level of customers gets too low their bound to either close up shop or lower their range fees. I'm suprised myself, don't know anyone that would pay that much to shoot in a place like that. btw David, I'm liking the new (don't remember ever seeing it) sig line, i'm so stealing it.

Dang, at 13 bucks a box you could have your pick of wally world ammo... umc, wwb, federal, that orange box?, speer lawman, all cheaper than that.

Thats the more reasonable explanation than what I was imagining.

Mike, Garufa, the quotes in bold led me to believe that maybe someone at Gunny's posted a notice directed towards this forum that they didn't care if we complained about their service. It has happened before you know. OhShoot mentioned a more reasonable explanation for those comments but I haven't heard anything about that either.

So, anybody, whats this all about? - There, maybe that damned "Please, oh please post something" warning will go away...

I'm going to translate this in my head to see why it aggravates me... 'Mr. Leroy, people that take pride in their country and want to protect it are the real dangers to our society. I would also like to go ahead and steroetype these white dudes and call them nazi's...because their white. I would like to further my stereotyping of the volunteers in the video by saying that they are fat, uneducated, and racist. Now I know they didn't say anything that would lead me to believe that but they are white, overweight, and have guns, so they must be stupid racists.' - thats the first few sentences, I would like to take a break from my interpretation of what was said to make a personal statement about our country. What makes the United States of America great are the immigrants who CAME and fought their oppressors to preserve for future generations a free nation. Back to my imaginary translation starting with the immigration comment: 'What makes this country great are immigrants who come to this country and either a.) further their socialist agenda or b.) drain the economy and spread poverty and the slums that accompany them. So a bunch of white, fat, uneducated nazi racists (remember I said their obviously nazi white supremacists) that volunteer to patrol an area burdened by illegal immigration and drug trafficking are very unwelcoming to the very immigrants that make this country great.' *end transmission... and I was wondering why that post aggravated me. Strel, nothing in that video led me to believe anything about the men volunteering on our border other than some of them were tacti-cool and the spokesman was obviously overweight (like a great deal of people). The reporter calling them neo-nazis, well, I didn't hear him ask them about any of that. -

I wonder if he asked them if they were neo-nazi white seperatists? -
Thats the most ftf's i've seen in one place on this thread. I'm assuming the above ftf's are failure to 'feed'. I've seen one gen4 (17) with about 1k rounds or so through it have one malfunction and it was a fte/double feed with the stock recoil assembly. Since then it has been used with a jager single spring assembly and the *updated* gen4 9mm stock assembly - glock finally listened and lightened up the stock assembly. No failures to date with it. I assumed that since the updated spring assembly and the gen4 19 came out about the same time that they would have the lighter setup installed, but you never know. I don't know why this is, but IMO your going to see more reports of g19 failures than any of the full size models (this experience comes from gen3 only though). I've had no less than 3 failures both ftf/fte with my gen3 19, and I attribute them to user error personally. My 34 has had one ftf (fire) that was a light strike that I attribute to the firing pin channel being gunked up, I also found a sheared off piece of plastic (could have been brass, it was pretty small) inside the channel. There are a couple good (positive) write-ups here: Gen4 Glock 19 Range Report Thread:Please Place All Gen4 G19 Reports Here - M4Carbine.net Forums The one constant in gen4 reviews that I also noted in the above link is that the trigger pull feels heavier. Assuming all the other parts in that group are the same weight I'd have to attribute that to the gen4's new trigger bar which has more surface area and little nub on the posterior that appears to add more resistance to the takeup. I'd like to know why they did that.
