  1. I have some ammo for sale for guns I no longer own. I have priced it according to the current prices listed by MidwayUSA. FFR1910 762x54R SP 180gr S&B, 20rd, $20 30.06 remington 180gr core-lokt psp, 20rd, $30
  2. Red and all, I appreciate the offer and the info. I thought about it and realized the lifetime benefactor membership was not that much money to pay considering how much help I have received from this board, so I went ahead and pulled the trigger, so to speak. I will post my items in the Classifieds now, thank you all-FFR1910, aka Bill Allen
  3. I have a few things I want to sell, but not enough to warrant upgrading my membership here. Armslist is now pay, FB marketplace is a no go. Does anyone know of an online local listing where ammo can be sold? If this question violates any terms, admins please forgive me and delete. FFR1910
  4. B+B in Murfreesboro DOES NOT do nfa engraving. Talked to them last week and they said they tried once but they could not do it to the requirements so that is one less source. ffr1910
  5. Stock 10/22 receiver with a Kidd barrel. Factory profile laminate stock modified to fit bull barrel, pillar bedded as well-Bill
  6. My great grandfather took a mule team and wagon down to Dupont and purchase six granite containers that were reputedly used to store acid for making gunpowder. He, and them my grandfather, used them as cattle feeders on the farm. I now have one of them in my yard that I use as a flower planter-Bill
  7. I dont have a specific reference, but I think I heard it from a church security webinar that our church insurance company offered for free. It was something like an armed congregation member is one thing, but they are not to considered "security" for the church due to legal issues. DO NOT quote me on that BA
  8. I am in the process of installing a wireless security camera at the front of our church right now for that very reason. I used a Foscam camera that you can monitor on an Iphone. I am going to monitor it during the service(along with anyone else who wants to monitor it), The idea being it would at least hopefully give us a couple of second time to prepare. I have heard that if a person with a HCP is in the congregation that is one thing, but they are not to be considered "security" from a legal standpoint. IANAL but I am sure there is some info our there on that aspect. BA
  9. I have the SSA-E in my 45acp ar which I know is overkill on a pistol carbine, but I have no complaints. Palmetto State Armory is running a special now for $179, 4th of July sale. Mt last trigger I installed was one of my own doing and the whole process cost about $20. There is a tutorial on how to do it on AR15.com. After my experience with that process, I WILL NOT buy another aftermarket trigger. I am posting a copy of the link below, the pics are gone unfortunately, but I emailed the posted to see if he could update them. The results were that good-Bill http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_4/544583_Trigger_work_.html
  10. not that iut matters at this point, but there was a coupon code at the home page that took off the hazmat. it still mentioned the hazmat in the chekout but did not charge me for it. mine will get here friday-bill
  11. I just saw it myself, CCI primers, no hazmat charge and FREE shipping. Coupon code on the home page-Bill
  12. 2hrs when I have done it. Get off 24 at the south pittsburgh exit.
  13. James, Nice to meet you as well, enjoy the bullets-Bill
  14. I havent heard from anyone yet (musicman?) ffr1910
  15. One of my students just gave me some bullets. I said I dont reload .40, he says keep them anyway. Who wants them? Magtech .40 flat nose FMJ 180gr. Please, only face to face, I dont want to ship. I am in Murfreesboro and can meet at the airport. 100 bullet bag, it is opened but appears to be almost full-ffr1910
  16. www.classicfirearms.com has stripped lowers-ba
  17. I was putting my M1 carbine bolt back together one time and stopped. I looked at the parts and thought, these could go into orbit. I went into the bathroom and closed the sink and shower drains, closed the toilet and covered the AC register with a towel. Thus gave me a finite area to search if necessary, and no carpet ! ba
  18. Bang! you hit the nail on the head. The law also says we cant carry during meetings discussing tenure, so an irate professor being denied tenure wont loose it on the committee members. But, the way it is worded, I cant even carry in my own department when we have our internal tenure meetings with no one around us who is going up for tenure. Maybe some things will get fixed in the future-bill
  19. and not even then. full time employees, once they sign up for even one class, become students and thus forbidden to carry. stupid-Bill
  20. I have an appointment Monday to submit my registration form for carrying on campus. No mention of a class. I was told earlier that there would be a voluntary class, not complaining. Bill
  21. I will go through the process but have not heard anything about it yet. I am assuming I will not hear anything until after 7/1 since the colleges are not really excited about this anyway, wait until the last minutes ya know-bill
  22. and now after further reading i see that amendment 3 did not go forward. amazing what reading does for you...
  23. Reading the amendments, does Senate Amendment 3 look like it add an opt out feature for school? I am not fluent in legaleeze but it seems to allow you to carry only if the school adopt a carry policy.
