  1. I'm in! What's not to like about it. Awesome looking bullpup styling on a short shotty.
  2. Two excellent choices. Need someone to babysit them? I'll volunteer. Especially for the Springfield.

    My new 1911

Congrats. I been longing to see one. For some strange reason, I seem to want one of every 1911...heck, make that one of every gun I see.
  4. My thoughts and prayers for you and your family. I'm so sorry for you. It seems that so many of us lost a parent this year. I'll be thinking about all of us tonight.

    I want one... BAD.

I like it. I'm also partial to 22mag. So when do we order?
  6. Thanks for the feedback guys. As I posted earlier, I thnk that unless I find a steal on a conversion, I'm thinking that a Ruger MkII/III may be in my future. I've been offered a good price on one, but doesn't have the bull barrel I think I want. And a Happy New Year to you all!
  7. Thanks, mav. The more I get into this, the more I begin to reconsider the kit idea. I'm having trouble searching on GlockTalk, but checking some other web locations don't leave me feeling warm and fuzzy about this. I wonder if a seperate 22 caliber gun isn't the best way to go. I've had the idea of a suppressed 22 on my mind for a while, so maybe looking for a bull barrel Ruger or a buckmark might be next.
  8. Thanks, JReedEsq. Any comments on the kimber kits, anyone? From what I've read on here, the Advantage kits on the glocks seem to be quite popular, but not having experience with either, I'm hoping to be informed and educated by some of our more knowledgable members.
  9. How about some feedback? I'm cosidering a 22 kit for one of my pistols. I have a blue Kimber ProCarry II that I'm tempted to get a Kimber kit for. And a couple of Glocks that might also be used--a 19 and a 22 that I'd think about an Advantage Arms kit. Money is not the issue; roughly 330 for the kimber and 275 for the glockkit. Anyone care to tell me of pro/con issues with either? Or have experience with either of them? Thanks.
  10. Excellent work! Makes me think and look at some of the goodies I've bought in the name of smaller size. Some aren't that small.
  11. John Wall at Eastside Gun in Nashville. 615-258-4080. He has installed sights for me and I'm well pleasedwith his work.
  12. I kinda like it. Pardon me, I gotta go now...
  13. In a scary kind of way.
  14. As is the case in most questions, many awnsers are available. However; Jonin and 1gewehr, in posts #6 and #8, respectively, cover about all the important points. If you follow these tips, you shold find yourself in good shape. Happy hunting.
  15. Yes, interesting. But 85% scale? and 600 bucks. I'd rather buy a conversion kit for my Kimber.
  16. Yes, but only to have a weapon to surrender at the next available opportunity.
  17. . I'm gonna have to go and shoot something. I'm thinking the same thing. I got a couple of new, to me, guns to try out. G&L looks like a likely stop.
  18. I really think you've opened a can of worry there, strickj. It does give one pause to think. Does, or will, Sarah Palin have enough clout to make a run for the nomination? Then could she win out over Obama? Good questions. Perhaps we will just have to wait for the outcome.
  19. Just got these and they are great. Smooth and reliable.
  20. For crimsonaudio, run for cover. My wife, the greatest John Wayne fan alive, has tried and convicted you in her mind. The post from Westwindmike depicts her intentions.
