  1. Wonderful!! Gotta be the best of the day!
  2. Guys, I can't single out any one of your 22's as the best. The are all great! I've been getting the itch for a 22 Fuger lately, just haven't found "the" one yet. But I did't impluse a GSG-22 carbine the other day and can't wait to get it out and limbered up. Still...the Rugers are calling...
  3. Hey, good reference to a real neat show.
  4. By all means hve a pro move it for you. I have moved my own safe, with help, when I was younger; but now the body is older and weaker, the mind is stupidly saying you can still do it anyway. But the Safe, Smart thing to do is let a pro do it. No hurt floors, door frams and jams, or broken body parts.
  5. Good, solid revolver. I have a 44 mag and a 2" 38. Both have performed flawlessly for me. In spite of the negativity sometimes associated withTaurus products, I don't think you'd make a bad buy if it's in good condition and a good price for you. Someone else may advise otherwise. JMHO.
  6. I'm too old and slow to run and carry enough ammo and guns. So...I'll just sit it out here at home, board up the windows and pop anything within range. I think I got enough rounds to last a few days. Hehehe.
  7. I would definitely put on the hogues first...but that's just me. I have a 625 and like it a lot. Yes its big and heavy, but fun. And really not a carry piece. Just a fun range toy or an outdoor gun in a backpack or thigh holster. Oh... the325PD...beautiful little killer handful. I put a cyclinder full thru one once. That was enough for me.

    2011 Car

Of the three, I'd go with the Mustang. Although personally, I'd have to give a serious look to the SS Camaro packages being offered. But since I can't spend your money..., find a cherry 03/04 Cobra instead. A buddy has an 03 with several significant mods to it and it is the fastest car I've ever driven.

    PT1911 9mm

Yes, Thanks very much for the review. I've been interested in the idea of a PT1911 in 9mm or possibly even 38super. So this was a definite help.
  10. Yes, you and your friends will be remember in my prayers.
  11. If you don't mind my asking, 160 for 5250 rounds? That's real good. Where can I order?
  12. +1. I use a lot of CCI in my 22's. It's pretty good ammo.

    New truck?

An unsolicited opinion from the owner of a 1988 Chevy Silverado Shortbed coming your way. I've been looking for a late model, 1-4 years old, to replace a Chevy S-body Blazer lost in last May's flooding, but I have this pickup I've had since 92. It has 192,000 miles on it and usually was usually driven less than 1000 miles per year. The local emission inspector joked several times that I should drive the truck before coming in for the yearly inspection. It's in fairly good shape mechanically, and the body is in excellent condition. It could use a new heater core and new front suspension, but overall is a good daily drive. Anyway, my point is that if serviced regularly, and treated halfway right, your Dodge should at least equal this. I keep telling myself I really don't need another vehicle, but...it would be nice to have something a little more comfortable for the wife and the few nice places we go. I've been looking at the Buick Enclave and the Chevy Traverse. Really , really like the Buick. But, man that's a lot of money, even used. So buddy, suck it up. Keep the 2005 and drive the wheels off it. I don't see how you'd really be any better off unless you just really want another vehicle.
  14. Grandfathers. Grandmothers. The National Anthem sang the RIGHT way. Amazing Grace on the bagpipes. A big +1 to your whole list, but these four especially for me.
  15. Phffffttt!!! G30 as well. But..of your choices, Kimber Pro Carry II.
  16. Need a babysitter for it? I work cheap...ammo only.
  17. Congratulations. Good to see that persistance and level-headed arguements can still pay off.

    what do you feel

Personal fav would be my SW model 66.
  19. I dunno...look at the trouble Godzilla had finishing off Tokyo. Them little plastic people and vehicles kept putiing it back up faster than he could stomp it flat. Besides... the Gubenator will save LA.
  20. Sweet looking 1911. Great shooting.

    best .22 handgun

Yes, I do. But it's fun to get in a comment on Bill without him being able to respond.
