  1. Not a 1911 but it meets or exceeds the other requirements. FN Five-Seven super light, recoil of a 22lr, 1700 ftps muzzle velocity, accepts a laser/light, comes with 20 round mags that you can modify to accept 30 rounds. wanna shoot mine let me know.

    "Assault Rifle"

Assault rifle is a derogatory term used by the media trying to make weapons sound evil. Assault weapon is a term coined by California, describing weapons that have not been nuetered.

Thanks for the heads ups guys, I'll be checking those places. and ofcourse have already sent out resumes to other places
  5. Mossberg makes some barrels for the 870 as well cheaper than the Remington barrels. check midway, and if you have a C&R you get 10-15% off. or go and find someone who can get a discount
  6. That is exactly what i was thinking. should be able to hide the Mosin just like the GF. OR maybe he has a girlfriend because his wife wont let him buy a Mosin.
  7. Para was doing a move from Canada to South Carolina, I'd say the reason they are behind on orders could be that and also the recent rush of gun purchases all around the country. These days I'd give every gun manufacturer some slack. I'm a nice guy what can i say Georgia Arms reloads not working on a 1911,2011 style guns does not surprise me. here is what is going on, specially with 40sw, since it is a high pressure round when it is fired from a none supported chamber -i.e. Glocks- the case bulges a little bit. When that case is reloaded some do not get that bulge removed all that way. There for that round does not fit in in guns with tighter chambers, but fits in ones with looser none supporting chambers like Gocks

    Jobs

Next Tuesday I'd be moving to Nashville (Antioch to be exact), wondering if anyone knows of any place that would be hiring. I am good for anything, not much of military training is any useful, but I am very handy, great at sales, management, customer service, fixing things, have worked at gun stores, offices, construction, what not. part time or full time does not matter something to keep me busy. thanks
  9. easy buy a 1911.
  10. Oh yeah you are getting a good deal. I missed out on a p16 a few months ago still pissed about it.

    New .45 I want

That is a really nice gun, it is imported by Saber defense which i believe is in Nashville, they are made to some very high standards. the gun is capable of 1.5 inch groups at 25 yards off hand. pretty much a super nice CZ 97 going for about $2200.

    Come on baby,

For a 1000 yd bolt gun i was looking at Remington's 700 XCR tactical in 300 winmag. it is a very well ballance rifle with super smooth action. and is about $1200.

    EBR Disease

I'd get one off the shelf, everytime i wanna build one from scratch, it seems more expensive.
  14. They are good guns, really fun to shoot and with 40 you barely notice the recoil. what are you trading?
  15. I like, something different.
  16. It all depends on who is grading them , some are more restrict thatn other. What I look for is how much was the gun used, was it abused or was it taken care of, are there any dings and scratches, has the blue worn off. holstered guns got it tough, even though they may not be shot much there finish gets damaged a lot and that affects their value as well.

    1911 .45

For those who think RIA's are crap, just remember who STI buys their frames from
  18. An alternative to sucky gun shows is alway welcomed

    1911 .45

1911's are going to get modefied, sooner or later, so get one that can be modefied. SA GI's and Milspecs are a pain and need some cutting and grinding for certain parts to fit. for little money I like the Rock Island Armory Tactial model part number 51431, it is a very good start. for over $700 I like the Kimber Tactical II 80 series but hey they are good guns.

  21. yes there is a 7.62x 39 upper for AR, also there is a 5.45x39. they all use the same lower(5.56, 223, 6.8spc, 6.5grendell, 7.62x39, 5.45x39, 9mm with adaptor, ...)
  22. . Designed by folks who wanted to retain the bullet diameter of the .22 rimfire round, but take a bit of the excessive lethality out of it. Favored by people who don’t feel comfortable carrying anything more dangerous than the neighbor kid’s rusty Red Ryder pellet gun. That is priceless, taking the lethality out of the 22 rimfire.
  23. As many have mentioned, get yourselve a good lower and build your own. Once you are done with that(and mean while do some research) go buy yourself a really good upper, DGI works just fine, don't buy into the whole gas piston hopla. Depending on what you want to do choose the caliber accordingly. 5.56 works just fie for target shooting up to 500 yard with 20 bbl. If you want to go with an oddball round, forget 6.8 it is crap and ammo is expensive and rarely available. 6.5 of other hand is a much better round all around, ammo is cheaper than 308 and you can find ammo, olus Wolf gold line has 6.5 going for about $15 for a box.
  24. Surprised that is never got any national attention. I guess CNN was just too busy covering some BS celeberty case. This story if very sad. once proven guilty they need to go fast, no appeals or nothing.
  25. that is the technique the Russian been teaching their troop for years. people did not see it in movies, so it seems new.
