Had something weird happen last night in Franklin

Good to know. Thanks again. I will keep an eye out as I go by there to see if I see anyone loitering by the dumpsters. I bet people like this go back to places they are comfortable doing it. -

Thanks for the notice. I live in Franklin and will keep an eye out there. I was in that Publix yesterday. What time was this? -
You sure it's not a 3 shot? Two actual shots and then club 'em to death with it or just drop it from the tree stand on top of them?

Hornady Says “We Change Everything – 10/27/15”
Hozzie replied to BigK's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
I am a big Hornady fan. I think their stuff is good value. I'll be watching. -
Too many other things in the works or I would run down and take a look. I wouldn't mind a threaded M&P 9.

Good idea. I will do that. I talked to them. You can simply choose pickup when ordering on the website and tell them when.

Fisherman Killed on Percy Priest lake boat ramp!!!
Hozzie replied to bersaguy's topic in Hunting and Fishing
Tony from Strategic Edge sent out an email earlier today as the victim was a well known member of SE. Goes to show it can happen to anyone. I admit I probably don't pay attention as much as I should at times, but this makes you re-evaluate your surroundings more carefully, at least for a while. -
Thanks. Have to head to KY on Wed. May stop and pick up some A1680 and A5 on the way. Have to pay tax either way, but at least avoid the hazmat shipping.
-
Sorry for your loss Ben. Sincere condolences to you and your family.

Yep, nice meeting everyone.

I'll be there. Looking forward to it. Should we ask for TGO or another name?

I am planning to attend. I will have some jet lag from getting back from Europe on Sat, but haven't made one of these yet and this is the best timing for me. Looking forward to it.

Yep. Never had an issue from getting it and haven't been sick in many years. Then again, I am not around a lot of kids or anything like that either. But I spend enough time in planes where I should probably catch anything going around. I believe it has also been proven that if you do get sick, it typically does not last as long and isn't as bad as when you didn't have a shot. In the end, I don't know that it helps, but I certainly don't think it hurts.

Thanks

Well, we got it done. Here is the new "fun" car. This thing is unbelievably quick. Thanks again to everyone for your feedback.

Time isn't really my issue. I was looking at cpo, but drove the new 340i and it is incredible. Sitting at dealer in Nashville trying to work out deal right now.
-
Runco, I agree with you on almost all of that. In the past, I typically have been the type that decides I want a new car, goes to the dealer and picks one out, and I am done all within a day. I liked new cars so I leased some as I traded every few years, but my last purchase was my current truck which is paid for and I am keeping just because I like to have a truck available. I decided about 6 months ago that I wanted a second car and I also decided I was going to drive a lot of cars to see what I like best. I basically limited my selection to luxury sedans, but I have probably test drove 25 cars over the last 4 months narrowing down not only make, but model. For me, the sales person(s) I have dealt with at BMW of Nashville have been awesome. We just haven't been able to find that "one". Part of it is I am really set on only a couple of colors and package options. It could be a 5 series or a 3 series, it will just hit me when I see it. Grayson had a 3 series that ticked most of the boxes for what appears to be a fair price, hence the reason for my question. I just also know that sometimes things can go wrong and if I was forced to go back and deal with the dealer, I was curious what kind of responses people may have had in the past. That part doesn't sound good.

Thanks.

Was it service related? Or did they try to hide something? I will taking whatever I buy to BMW of Nashville for service. I suppose I could have some issue right away where I would want to take it back, but in reality, it's just about a specific car they have. Thanks. That certainly changes things.

Thanks. I have been looking for a few months and have a pretty good idea what the things are going for. I brought a 328i sulev home tonight to check out a little closer, but don't get the warm and fuzzies about the sulev (super low emissions) after reading up on them. I am also still debating between a 3 and 5 series. Really only need a 3, but man are the 5's nice.

I am thinking about buying a CPO Vehicle from them. Any good or bad stories before I take the drive over from Nashville? Thanks.

Talking to me about Progressive Presses
Hozzie replied to CommsNBombs's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
I think everyone has given good advice. I realize it is above your budget right now, but I have a complete LNL setup that is basically new in the classifieds. You will end up needing many other items than just the press. I didn't plan to load for 45 so I don't have the small plate for it, but that is all you would have to add to mine to do 45. I also am including he powder lockout die to help you catch any overloads. Again, more than $600, but will save you a lot if you do the math. I have used Dillon's as well and they are good machines if you decide to go that way. -
Yeah, they should have went after the people that didn't pay. Can't fix stupid.
