While everyone makes mistakes, I have to agree that if Haslam will sign his name to something without knowing what it means, then he is not qualified to be dogcatcher, much less governor.

I've never bought anything from a brick and mortar gun store. I've always found the best deals buying privately, at a gun show, or online. I am a repeat customer of Bud's. No pressure, and no misinformation from someone behind a counter who thinks they know far more than they actually do.

Someone please show me where the settlers had to have a permit to carry their firearms around. I don't believe it was a requirement, because "shall not be infringed" means exactly that. Excuse me for saying so, but this is exactly why I give no credibility to gun store employees who think they are experts on the Second Amendment, or even guns for that matter.

The wife and I had dinner at Texas Roadhouse in Pigeon Forge last Monday night, and they again confirmed their superiority over Logan's, both in service AND food quality. I had one of the best grilled pork chops I have ever eaten (besides my own ). And they weren't posted.

I can honestly say that I have everything I want and need, but some Trijicons for both my M&Ps would be nice.

Texas Roadhouse spoiled me. Their service, food, and atmosphere is far superior to Logan's. Unfortunately, ours closed about a year ago. Don't know why, because every time we drove by, their parking lot was full and people usually had to park across the road at the mall on the weekends. Logan's was good when they first opened, but now they are mediocre at best. They are not on my list when I'm looking for a good restaurant. I'd much rather go to O'Charley's than Logan's.

Mike, one other word of advice. DO NOT give your email address to the council, district, or national council, because you will never get it off!! Create a new account and just use it for that if you need to be on an email list. I have been trying for two years to get my name removed and I am still getting emails.

Mike, Scouting is no different when it comes to people who are self-important asshats, and I ran into my share of them in the 10 years we were involved. But I didn't let them get to me. They had no authority over me and I didn't give them a second thought. There were too many great people who by far made up for the few jerks that I encountered. We met in a church and hats were part of the uniform. If this jerk tells you again to remove your hat, ask him to show you where in the book it says you can't wear a hat in the meeting place. He's not there to administer church rules. I'd just tell him to go take a flying leap.
