That would be an interesting exercise. Send in an email to them wanting them to change their position on it... and not over ride the veto. But have numerous spelling and grammar errors. Stating ridiculous claims that the streets will run red with blood, etc.

Topic creeping away... The subject is this particular officer... I only speak of this instance. Now, back to the "douche" in question?

I think that is known commonly as the "Douchebag" defense. LOL! "Your Honor... at the time of this altercation, the officer was under a form of distress caused by "Temporary Duchebaggery". I would also like to remind the court that the State of Oklahoma has yet to address "Douchebaggery" properly with all it's employees with proper classes and training. As a prime example I offer the DMV and it's fine employees. You see your Honor... it's my client that is the victim here."

If this went down the way it seems it has... I would hate to be the one that had to defend the officer's actions. It would be hard to do so and not look like a complete idiot.

Phil Bredesen will veto a bill that would have allowed Tennessee handgun permit holders to take their weapons into establishments that serve alcohol. A person familiar with the governor's decision spoke to AP on a condition of anonymity because the decision hasn't yet been announced. Bredesen has set a Thursday afternoon news conference where he is to be joined by police chiefs and district attorneys from around the state. The measure passed the state House and Senate by large margins. It takes a simple majority in each chamber to override a veto. Lawmakers decided against a provision imposing an 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew. But they retained an existing ban on consuming alcohol while carrying a handgun.

If the Tennessean is going out on a limb to say specifically that he is going to announce that he is going to Veto the bill, I would think they have some pretty good information. (I could be wrong.) They have pushed pretty hard against the bill for quite awhile.
