He was going to film a little more outside with his little brother as a zombie and him poking him with a stick. But they got in a huge fight which was hilarious! I wished I had been able to film it. Older Brother: "What were you doing! You're ruining it!!" Younger Bro: "Am NOT!! I'm making it better!" Older brother: "Just do what your suppose to next time!" Younger Bro: "Unt' uhhhhh... I don't want be in your stupid Zombie movie anyway! I QUIT!!" Older Brother: "GOOD! I didn't want you in it anyway!" Younger Brother: "I'll make my own Zombie movie!!" At which point Futurama's Bender runs through my mind... "... with Blackjack! And Hookers!" LOL!!!! Glad you liked it guys. I kind of like the muzzle loader reference "Don't even bother." haha!!

Just completely ridiculous... The fact that the officer, knowing he was being taped... yet felt free to to keep going like that speaks volumes about him. Sad.

As some of you may know my son (12) was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes last October. This September 19th we're participating in the JDRF "Walk to cure Diabetes". Anyway... as a way to help with the fundraising my son decided he wanted to make a video. He wrote and filmed it himself. (I just edited it together for him.) In it he compares the similarities of Zombies and Diabetics and why it's so important to find a cure for Diabetes. He also came up with our Team walk name... Zombie and Diabetes Eradication Team (or Z.A.D.E.T. for short) I'm pretty sure we're the only team with "Zombie" in their name. LOL!! My main reason to post this here is cause I'm REALLY proud of both him and his brother for making this. **Not to go all Jerry Lewis on you, but if you want to make a donation for our team you can do so HERE. Don't worry if you don't want to or can't... this economy is kicking everyones butt right now. Worst time to ever ask anyone for a donation. If you want to walk with us (it's free!) you can sign up with the same link. It's at the Bicentennial mall downtown. You know... the STATE PARK! Mods... if this is out of line feel free to delete. I completely understand.

That looks really sharp! (Especially the 10.5" on their website.)

Question: Number 4... "Who does not remove, utilize or allow to be removed or utilized any weapon from the vehicle." Does this allow for a holstered loaded weapon? Example: In the "car rider" line, dropping child off or picking them up. Driver has a loaded weapon holstered and a valid HCP. They are there for the sole purpose of picking the child up and doesn't leave the vehicle. Is the holster considered a "retaining device"? Just wondering out loud.

I've never fired an HK with the LEM Version. Always have wondered what it was like. Have heard people for and against it, mayeb it has more to do with the type of version of LEM you get. or if you like Lime.

He really comes across as elitist and out of touch. It seemed like he wished he could say "How dare YOU people question me?". At least that is what I take away from the exchange.

It is worth noting that they did not beat the soviets alone. The tide (correct me if I am wrong) didn't start to turn until we poured about a billion bucks into the region in the form of equipment and training. I believe the stingers made a huge impact both physically and emotional for them. They don't have a "Superpower" supplying and arming them, as far as we know anyway. While some comparisons can be drawn and SHOULD, we also need to keep in mind some of the differences. *Disclaimer: I've never served in the armed forces, however, for four years did command roughly one thousand plastic army (Including two plastic tanks) in the late 70's. Sadly... all were lost and to this day... I... I... blame myself.

Hmmmm... • AR Clinics? • Intro to Class III? • Silencers Symplified Classes? -
Looking forward to this one myself!

Okay... that was this best narration of a letter I have ever read! Awesome!

THANKS!!! That link is awesome! For the benefit of others... Now this makes me wonder if I shouldn't get him to save up a little more money (With "Dad-Matching" funds.) And try to find him a "pre-enjoyed" single action maybe in .32 magnum, or a double action. I'm afraid with the .327 magnum being so new, a reasonable used one might be out of the question. Hmmmmm.... going to have to ponder on this one a bit.

WOW! That is pretty cheap! How do you like yours? Is it heavy? I'll show my son this thread tonight!
-
Thanks!! I told my son I would read up on the ammo and how to tell the different models apart while he starts saving some money.

My son shot an old S&W (forget the model) in 32 S&W (short) in a 3" barrel. He is 12 and absolutely loved it! (Needless to say he would really like to have one now.) Here are my questions... (Ammo) 1. If I bought a 32 S&W Long, could I also fire 32 S&W in it? 2. If I bought a 32 HR Magnum, could I fire 32 S&W, and 32 S&W Long in it? (Firearms) 3. Are used ones, S&W, H&R, or old "Owl Heads" able to be found at pawn shops and such? 4. Are there enough out there in decent mechanical shape that are under a hundred bucks? (Wouldn't mind finding him one that he could reblue as well.) I know the ammo is high, but I reload and thought if he was interested this would also be a good way to introduce him to reloading as well.

Agreed! It should be that if a business choses to "disarm" an HCP holder by posting their establishment... then they by doing so assume the responsibility (and is then held liable) of that holder's (and those with him) safety. Or if you like, if a restaurant posts a no firearms sign then they in turn have to have an licensed armed security guard during business hours and have a written security plan in place and viewable at the request of the patron. (This can get all kinds of expensive if they want.) or.... how about you don't post, we don't open carry. Kind of a don't ask don't tell policy. The cheapest, easiest way for all parties involved. -

That might be seen as aggressive. The same goal could be achieved by changing the law to state a restaurant can not be held liable for the actions of HCP holder that is acting in self defense or the defense of others.
