    Sig P238

Sig factory magazines are always very high but, yes, Colt magazines do work. I've got a couple of Sig and a couple of Colt and they are virtually identical. I have one of SIGs factory extended magazine and absolutely love it. It allows a more natural grip for me which makes shooting the 238 a dream.[/CODE] I have the HD P238 and the midway Colt mags do not work in mine. They ride high and block the fired case from ejecting.
  2. I wonder if it will be as hard to disassemble as the 22/45?

    Sig P238

I have the HD version and it shoots really well, accurate and fits well in a pocket. I had to send it twice to Sig because it had trouble extracting the spent shell but after Sig replaced the extractor it worked perfectly. They have really good customer service and I think it is well worth the higher price.
  4. gun tests because it is free of manufactures influence. The magazine compares similar guns, rifles like consumer reports for firearms.

    Good Deal on XD?

Good deal on the XD. My range gun is the XD tactical in 40 cal and shoots great. I put a Springer trigger and tungston guide rod so the recoil seems less. I hope you enjoy your purchase.
  6. Something to remember when dealing with my critics at work.

    Walther PPS .40

My wife got the Walther PPS in 40 for her HCP class because she liked the thin frame to carry over her revolver. By round 150 her hand was so sore that she gave it to me for my EDC. I love it and had the big dot XS night sights put on. For my tastes its perfect but she won't shoot it anymore and took my 9mm XDM.

    Sig 238

Or just shoot to the left as they do in Kentucky.
  10. I also have the PX 4 .45 and the 9 RD mag makes the grip easy to conceal. Its DA/SA trigger is very good, better than the M&P IMHO.
  11. Good choice! You can also replace the grips.
  12. I have the sig p238 HD which is fun to shoot at the range and easily concealable because of its small size. It fits in any pocket. The extra weight of the HD version means less recoil and longer life.
  13. Thanks. I was considering the XS sight on only saw it for the P99.
  14. I did not think to call. Is that $3.00 to call or $3.00 for the front sight?
  15. Does anyone know where to purchase a #3 front sight for the PPS? I have a #4 factory installed and it shoots low from a benchrest and the manuel says ther are different numbered front sights to adjust aim but I can't find any from internet searches.
  16. My wife has a Charter Arms Off Duty 38 Sp she has used for years but after shooting my P238 HD she prefers it. She thinks the little 380 bullets are so cute and the heavy HD model has less recoil than the revolver.
  17. +! Or just get a revolver for the HCP and keep the Bersa. Every person needs a BUG.
  18. My Ruger 22/45. If it wasnt so accurate and fun to shoot I would have tossed it.
  19. Idiots! Nobody better than Fisher is available.IIRC
  20. You should know her pretty well after three years. You can make it work out if you both want it to. She probably senses insecurity on your part which could explain her behavior. I have been married for 28 years and know that small problems overlooked early in a relationship are greatly magnified later on so my advise is to get expert premarital counseling together before either of you make a big mistake.
  21. Love the LCR and it stays in my pocket. For the home I have my wife. If they get past her then they have to face my Remington 870 with 00 Buckshot.
  22. The 40 is a little snappy but controllable as well.
  23. Walther PPS 40! Fits in my pocket with flush mag or IWB conp-tac minitar holster. I like it better than my LCR which is my alternate carry.
  24. If it gets more women carrying then good. I think they look toy like and prefer all black for the intimidation factor. If I have to defend my life I want to appear menacing.
