  1. It might not be as much an etiquette issue, but one of the local ranges doesn't allow headshots in order to prevent damage to the target carrier. Maybe it was a range rule at the place you took your class at.
  2. If you like IWB, check out Comp-tac. I have the CTAC and love it, and others on this forum like the MTAC even more.
  3. Volunteer orange is only distinguishable in the realm of sports. In the real world it is hard to tell a UT fan from a hunter from a convict on trash duty, although 9 times out of 10 when you have one of the aforementioned traits you have them all
  4. Mozambique. I suppose it could happen, but by the time you factor in the miniscule odds of me being in an armed confrontation, even smaller odds of me having to shoot, and much smaller odds beyond that of the assailant wearing body armor, I will probably continue to carry my .45. If I owned a gun store, however, I would probably keep a 9mm or perhaps .357 sig handy, as I'm sure that increases the chances of serious armed confrontation against a prepared opponent drastically.
  5. ROFLMAO! Best smiley ever!
  6. They're fine, if that's your thing. I have the same interest in glocks as I do the hot new vegetarian restaurant that opened around the corner. I'm sure some people will love it, but it's just not for me.
  7. From Catch 22 by Joseph Heller :sigh: It's sad because it's true.
  8. Ha, I think I'll have to pass.
  9. I don't know about you Rabbi, but as long as the tooth fairy and cookie monster are still around, no one is gonna take away my rights.
  10. They don't need commercial breaks in NASCAR because the cars are driving commercials, as is the track, the announcements, and everything else. While there aren't traditional commercial breaks, I don't think you can say NASCAR lacks corporate sponsorship.
  11. Fallguy?
  12. Yea, I know, thus the
  13. The grip safety did what it was supposed to do. As did the trigger safety on the pistol.
  14. It is greek for "come and take them." It's off the movie 300.
  15. I'm in Memphis, but I'd be ALL over it if I was anywhere near you.
  16. If someone saved my life with an orange I wouldn't be upset with their choice of weapon. That still doesn't mean I think carrying an orange for self defense is a good idea.
  17. I enjoyed that.
  18. What store did you go to?
  19. Is anyone ever proven wrong on an internet forum?
  20. BOOOOO!!!!!
  21. I don't carry that way.
  22. My uncle has a few of these cameras and he says the critters don't really seem to mind the flash. His has a night vision mode as well, and he's never needed to use it.
  23. It should unless you have one hell of a door.
  24. Probably, which is why I don't carry that way. I still think it's better than no gun at all.
