  1. I think you may be onto something, I've noticed a prevalence of bald californians, perhaps it's a side effect?
  2. 50 rounds a month. If this passes, I predict Dillon's California sales will go way up.
  3. That's quite a circuit there, db99wj.
  4. We're all here on this forum for the same reason, or did you just get really deep for a second?
  5. That's an interesting slide stop.
  6. They don't have to read you your Miranda Rights unless they are going to interrogate you.
  7. Take your logic and apply it to a cop's perspective, and you should understand what is wrong. They see civilians doing terrible things every day, how should they judge all of us based on these incidents? You have every right to opinion, but I think it is very likely that most police officers start their careers with every intention of making the world a better place, but after years of dealing with people with your perspective, I imagine that starts to change.
  8. That's a terrible way of looking at things.
  9. Yea, thanks for ruining my idea guys. Back to ramen/tuna for dinner.
  10. Can I have Rabbi's password?
  11. As far as the worn finish, leather tends to create more wear in my experience. A leather holster grips the entire slide for retention, and therefore wears the finish along the slide and muzzle, while my CTAC only grips the gun by the trigger guard, so that is the only place that I have seen much wear coming from my kydex holster.
  12. What caliber? A low pressure round like .45 ACP can be rounded 8 times, or even more, while I wouldn't recommend loading .308 more than about 3 times.
  13. I was driving back from Savannah today, and had an idea that might be just crazy enough to work. You would start by taking a steak and chopping it up into small pieces, I don't know how small yet, I'll have to experiment. You then marinade in high proof alcohol (I'm thinking Wild Turkey 101) for 24 hours, and then set them on fire. This is where it gets iffy. In theory, the little steak nuggets should be cooked from the flames. If it works, this could revolutionize meat preperation as we know it: tailgating would never be the same. So whatya think, will it work?
  14. Don't let Rabbi see that, or we'll have a whole new tangent to go off on. He thinks they come from the cookie monster.
  15. That's probably the answer, Dotsun. Canyn, I wouldn't worry too much about incorporation, every year it gets proposed, and every year the cities of Bartlett, Germantown, and Collierville point out that it could not happen without their approval, and they simply refuse to go along with it.
  16. There are bizarre examples of this. In my town, you cannot consume beer after 10 o'clock, but since the city cannot regulate liquor, you can purchase whiskey shots. I have actually been in bars where the servers walked around and collected all of the half drunk beers at 10. Weird, huh?
  17. I wonder what the real reason is?
  18. Does anyone know if the ordinance bans the sale of liquor as well? Everything that I have heard has specified beer, without a single mention of alcohol or liquor.
  19. Taken at Ardent Studios in Memphis. I'm the fuzzy one playing the bass.
  20. I feel your pain, but consider the dealer's point of view. Odds are they could get a brand spanking new Springfield XD for a little over $300, why would they pay the same price for a used one? Unless you have something that the store cannot order, you're never going to do as well on trade as you are selling it privately, assuming you can find a buyer.
  21. Try switching to Federal primers, they're supposed to be the softest out there.
  22. It wouldn't be that different than when "F the Mayor" stickers started showing up on all the personally owned vehicles in Memphis Police Department parking lots.
  23. I would really like to be there when they decide to put the marines in cages.
