  1. FWIW, On both the Colbert Report and the Daily Show the butt of the joke is normally the interviewer rather than the interviewee.
  2. It looks like some guy named Randy Harris didn't do so bad.
  3. Hmm, does that mean regular human targets are ok?
  4. It's a great show. When they do reports, there isn't normally a lot of obvious bias, they tend to make everyone look ridiculous equally. You should do it, If there's anyone that I think could handle this without making gun owners look completely insane, it's you.
  5. I've never done this, but it's not a waste of time to try it. If it works, keep doing it, if not, don't.
  6. I suggest pulling the trigger with your eyeball the first time, just to prove to the rifle that you are not afraid. Remember, they can sense fear.
  7. I like leather better, but in the summer I sweat right through it, thus the CTAC. This time of year I go with a Galco Summer Special knock off.
  8. Congratulations! Remember, slow is smooth, and smooth is fast. Focus on doing things correctly and smoothly, the fast part will just sorta happen on it's own.
  9. Make friends with a guy with land and a private indoor range. That's what I did.
  10. Yup, the rod that holds the interchangeable palmswell in is also designed to flip the sear deactivation lever. It's all James bondy and stuff.
  11. I've had a loaded gun pointed at me a time or two (only on accident). It sucks.
  12. I hate all of you.
  13. It's not really a design flaw. It's on purpose, it helps to ensure reliable feeding. And increases the chance that the gun blows up, but you can't have your cake and eat it too (unless you buy and M&P).
  14. Go figure. Maybe they got them approved somehow?
  15. I've never seen this video that you guys talk about. Does the state specify that you have to show the video in question, or does is just state that have to show a video. At Rangemaster where I took my course we watched a video that was made at Rangemaster.
  16. No problem. There are a few more where that came from. http://www.gunblast.com/SW_MP.htm
  17. By the way, the lever is in the down position in the picture. Also, the yellow paint wears off pretty quickly with use, so it is probably metal colored on your friend's gun.
  18. Is he referring to the takedown latch that is on the outside of the pistol next to the slide lock? This is the lever that he should be flipping down to disassemble the pistol. If that's what he says he does, I guess it is possible to dry fire the pistol while at slide lock, but it's probably better to use the lever.
  19. It's right under the breechface on the frame, a little bit under and to the side of the ejector when the slide is locked back. It's kinda hard to find, I had to get my brother to show me where it was, and you have to stick something down in there to get to it (like the handy dandy grip poker thingy).
  20. I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell lives in the works truck to kill time while waiting on customers/riding.
  21. Great site, too bad he quit updating.
  22. Sure thing. As soon as I am confronted with a bunch of body armor clad assailants that I intend on knocking down, I'll get right on it.
  23. You DO NOT have to dry fire an M&P to field strip it. You CANNOT field strip an M&P without using the sear deactivation lever. I just confirmed this on my brothers M&P .40 without magazine disconnect.
  24. Depends how much over 9mm we're talking about.
  25. I'm going to have to make it out to this one year.
