  1. Do some research on that P250, from what I understand it's full of fail and AIDS. I sometimes carry my XDm 9mm in a Raven Concealment holster, the grip is entirely too long to conceal anything. My Kahr CM9 tucks away nicely and the Glock 23 hides pretty well too.
  2. I went today, all I got was some Tannerite. I was hoping to find a well used 870, no such luck.
  3. You need to try it at the range with buckshot to see how it will pattern. I use 2 3/4" buckshot in my FN SLP. You can get reduced recoil buckshot so it won't be as bad for the wife (or for you, if you're limp wristed )
  4. I'll be there Sunday, never been to one before so I can't comment yet.
  5. Awesome, I'll be buying one of those if I can't find anything at the Goodman show Sunday.
  6. Federal Flight Control 00 buck or reduced recoil 00 buck will cover you for ammo. I use the standard velocity stuff in my FN SLP Mk 1. My go to HD gun is an AR with 60gr TAP loaded.
  7. I like the covered gas block look myself. I had Guntroll put on a Larue low profile gas block and 9" rail on my Bushmaster carbine.

    No ammo

Head to Hero Gear in Winchester, they've probably got some. I always just buy from Walmart or the internet.
  9. My Glock does the same thing. I've gotten used to it and don't care anymore. ETA: 5 years of carrying the Glock and no extra holes in my ass yet.
  10. I have two MTAC holders, one for my Glock 23 and one for my CM9. They are comfortable and stay in place well.

    16" vs 18" vs 20"

Don't go trying to headshot any deer. A 62gr Corbon DPX to the vitals will drop a whitetail just fine.
  12. I just got a Kahr CM9 a couple of weeks ago and I'm liking it so far. 200 rounds through it in one session to get it broken in, not a single malfunction. It is very comfortable and concealed in a MTAC holster.
  13. I felt bad about running over an opossum, but I didn't feel bad at all about killing a deer or turkey and eating it.
  14. I bought a 3.5lb connector from Glockworld.com, had it the next day. It shipped from Nashville.

    16" vs 18" vs 20"

If you're going to be hunting deer I would get a 1/8 or 1/7 twist barrel so you can shoot heavier bullets.
  16. 5gb plan is $50. The 10gb plan is $80.
  17. You can get a 10gb plan with Verizon. Can you not get DSL or Cable modem where you are?
  18. Dang, that 5 to Glock round killed my score. I'm not disappointed with the other two rounds. 50th out of 59 in civilian hurts though.
  19. I'll be there. Just get a date set. The last one at CHMR was a blast!
  20. Mine is awesome. It eats Federal bulk packs from Walmart just fine.
  21. So I should stay home then?

    S&W Model 59

Yeah. 13 was tough, that 14th didn't want to go in. Disassembled and cleaned/inspected the mag. It seemed okay. The gun was not well taken care of but I got most of the rust off the slide and mag.
  23. I sent in my registration. This will be my first competition, we'll see how me and the old 23 fair.

    S&W Model 59

My uncle has one that I took home and looked over/cleaned for him because it was jamming. After a good cleaning I took it to the range, it is definitely a sweet shooter. I thought the magazine kind of sucked though, real hard to get that last round in there.
