I haven't shot one of the Springfield EMPs but I want one, it's dead sexy. I'm guessing it would be easier to conceal than my Glock 23, but I like the ammo capacity on my Glock better. I'm also not a fan of the manual safety, but I wouldn't carry a single action with the safety off.

What's a riffle?

I'm ready to get out hunting Saturday. This will be my first time turkey hunting. I'll be taking my FN SLP Mk 1, Tru-glo turkey choke, and Hornady 3" #5 shells. I'm thinking I'll probably just scare them off with my attempt at calling.

I'll have to give these a few months to make sure the bugs are worked out, I'll probably get one if they function reliably. I was eyeballing a PM9 but I like this price better.

They'd probably delete your post from their industry forum if you did. I order from them because I like their prices, but it took them a week to ship out some stripped lowers. There was no notice about being back ordered and no communication for that week. There's also not a way to check order status other than emailing or calling them. As to my first comment, I made a thread about PMags not fitting their lowers and it was deleted.

Just get one from the CMP and plenty of surplus ammo for it (in 30-06, the way John Garand intended). Do eet!

Well it runs perfect and shoots good. Busted some clays then put in the turkey choke. It makes a decent pattern at 35 yards and isn't as punishing as an 870 with 3" turkey loads.

I had a 10/22 and sold it. The suppressor makes it awesome though. It would look nice on my M&P 15-22.

Thanks to the guys at Guns & Leather in Greenbrier for hooking me up with my first shotgun. Zombies beware! Hopefully I can take it out to shoot Sunday if the rain clears up. Get some!
