  1. Without driving to haleyville alabama, how might one acquire one of these safes? I am seriously considering this deal but I live in Memphis. Haleyville is quite the trek for me. How much would shipping run via freight to a warehouse with a dock?
  2. Wish I had that mount!
  3. I told you that you would love it. That 4 inch at Range is pretty much perfect. Although, when in hand, the 6 inch doesn't feel any different and looks more badass.
  4. Yes it has the sights. I like to be able to shoot without an optic. I'd love to get together sometime. I drool over Beretta 87s and have had my eye on a 452 lately. Although, if I do pick up a 452, I doubt it will be threaded. I want the full stock version.
  5. Its a mite. I bought it from an individual and got a FANTASTIC deal on it. I'm a 22 nut so have plenty of 22s at home. I just need to get a couple of them threaded. I've had this since February. Its just been quietly waiting for its mate.
  6. I just haven't seen a lower recently without a lot of stuff on it. The roll marks on these things have gotten huge.
  7. Do you have your own machining equipment? If so, do an 80% receiver. You can't get less mess on a receiver than that.
  8. Finally have an update.
  9. I should have my paperwork back in a couple weeks. If you ever get down to Memphis, let me know.

    16" vs 18" vs 20"

And go midlength. Its just looks SO much better.
  11. YouTube - ‪Modern Warfare 2: Nuke on Carnival by FPS Kyle (MW2 Gameplay/Commentary)‬‏ Same guy. FPS Kyle = FPS Russia = FPS McDuck
  12. to everyone talking about pumps and electricity, thats what wind is for. Aermotor Windmill Company Inc.- Economical Energy Wind Water Pump - Welcome
  13. He just did a couple of videos with Hickok45 as well.
  14. Surplus Arms lowers are twenty dollars less and work just fine. Loving mine so far.
  15. I think its probably your fault.
  16. You know, I was really on the fence about getting one of these. But then I saw this picture. Now that I know I can aim and drink simultaneously, I'm in. Joe, you are clearly missing out by not showing that pic on your website.
  17. I know! I've been eyeballing the 6.8 uppers at that price.
  18. What is your budget? For ease of cleaning, you can't beat the SilencerCo Sparrow. It is also among the top three in sound levels. The AAC element is also a great rimfire can.
  19. If this was aimed at my previous post, please understand that post was meant with sarcasm. Thats assuming that we all have a table of handguns available to us at all time. Some people can only afford a kia but we all know that they would be better equipped at the drag races with a mustang or camaro. Sometimes its about what is available to you. Although, I feel comfortable in saying that for most of the people on this forum, the money part isn't an issue. We buy the Hi-Points because we want to own everything and they can be a reliable little fun gun. As to the stigma, if you bought one, shot 500 trouble free rounds out of it, would you trust it then? Probably not. Because its a mental thing. The way it looks and feels screams cheap, it is cheap to buy, and there is a horrible stigma attached to these guns from the internet mall ninjas. All of that is always in the back of your mind, no matter how dependable the gun is.
  20. So my press arrived at my house last week. I'll be getting my bench setup this week. Help me start working on a load for my Garand. I know that powder is very important in these guns so please let me know what is okay to use. Thanks!
  21. There was an episode of Police Women of Memphis that had a shooting. A guy shot a robber. The gun used was a hi-point C9. Seemed to dispel two rumors. 1. Hi-Points can't be trusted 2. 9mm isn't enough The guy was laying on the ground and in lots of pain. I'm sure his ambulance ride was fun.
  22. My press just got here Thursday.
  23. Iowegan's review was equally as enthusiastic about the gun. Although he did talk about a few parts that he changed. You have ALOT more money than me. I can't afford to spend over 600 dollars on ammo just to see if it is going to feed. I run a box or two of a carry load through and call it good enough. Then again, I don't carry an extra mag with me either so alot of people think I'm nuts.
  24. I produced the morning show on AC station in a top 50 market. I know what I'm talking about.
