  1. Whatever you use to clean your 22's will work fine. I finally got my stamp back and have played around with mine a little. Tons of fun even if its not the quietest.

    Ruger 77/357

Street prices on rugers are never close to msrp. I expect this to be in the 600-650 range.
  3. MW2 is by far the best of the series. It only suffered from a lack of support. And given the changes that were happening at IW at the time, I get that. At this point, after playing Black Ops for way too many hours, I would buy a new MW2 that had been reskinned and patched and I would be happy with that.

    Ruger 77/357

Many of you are familiar with the Ruger 77 series bolt action rifle. There are currently three models available with the Ruger rotary mag, the 77/22, 77/17and 77/44. Well now they are adding the 77/357 to that lineup. The rotary magazine will hold 5 rounds of 357. I've always thought it would be cool to have a matching pair of Rugers that consisted of a 77/44 and a Redhawk. But since the 357 is a caliber that I am much more likely to use, this may take its place.
  5. I wasn't meaning to imply that I didn't trust it. Just that the plastic lower would be more at home on my smaller caliber rifle than the more expensive aluminum lower. JMO
  6. Whatever is closest will do just fine. Then I'll pick through the dead bodies until I find something I like better.
  7. I really need to pick one of these up. This would be a good replacement for my 22 ar and I can use the existing lower to build a larger caliber.
  8. When are you gonna be there tomorrow? I'll be there most of the morning.
  9. Curmudgeonly old men. haha I don't mind the 10 shot. Last I checked, the real cowboys weren't carrying around .22s anyways. So in caliber alone, its an abomination. It doesn't matter if the reload to shoot time evens out in the long run, if I can shoot longer between reloads, its worth it to me. a 110 round drum is fun too for the same reason. its a bear to load it back up but it gives you more enjoyment between reloads.
  10. Just announced. Ruger is releasing a 10 shot version of the single six. The sights are hideous so I will wait to see what else is available but I will definitely be adding one to my collection.
  11. I got to play with one back in April and I'm still smiling!!!!
  12. That Luger is gorgeous.
  13. Old people and technology...
  14. So as long as everything is in the past, Garufa is back from his vacation and we are allowed to thread dig, then I'm good. I can't speak for any of the other guys but I'm personally done with this mess. I can let things go pretty quickly. And for the record, the other site, that you hate so much is definitely not competition for TGO. And I don't think we ever had thoughts of it being that way. Its just a much more laid back place for us to always be whatever. I know you are a member so make a post or two. I promise we won't ban you.
  15. Are those the factory grips? It does look a lot better than factory. When I buy another C9, I want to see about getting some rubber grips instead of the hard plastic.
  16. I never saw this so I figured I would add my vote to it.
  17. That is actually a Glock that I might be able to stomach. I think what drives me away from glock isn't as much the grip angle as it is the hump. This one looks like my hand would like it. And the stipling looks just right. Not too much nor too little.
  18. The BAR is my dream gun at this point. I'm absolutely in love with them. If you were ever willing to let me spend a few minutes with one, I'd definitely make the drive just about anywhere.
  19. You have a BAR?!?! Will you adopt me? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. Maybe because you are asking a lady to post pictures of her cleavage.
  21. MW & MW2 used the same engine. Essentially the same game with new "features." MW2 only suffered from a lack of support by IW which was undergoing major staffing issues. WaW & BO used the same engine. Essentially the same game but different points in history. Black Ops is horrible though. Very clunky on PS3. I'm sure its smooth on the 360 since it was originally written for it. MW3 really has the potential to be something new. But thats only if Sledgehammer developed a new engine for it.
  22. I must be the only person in the world that can't shoot with muffs. I mean, pistol is fine but for rifle, I can't get any kind of a cheekweld without the muff lifting off my ear. When shooting rifle, I go plugs only.
  23. This thread just explained a cut on my face. I was shooting my AR22 a couple weeks ago and a piece brass went between my glasses and my face. A few days later I noticed the cut but didn't put two and two together until just now. I had completely forgotten about the brass.
  24. Chance was one of the RO's and he would definitely take offense to your comment if it was directed at him. Chance is very knowledgeable on items covered under NFA. He has several and drools over more. Daniel, Chance still posts over here, just not as often as he used to. Most of the TNZR folk have dual citizenship. The only ones that I know that abandoned TGO for good are the ones that banned.
  25. For me, its about building exactly what I want. And building an AR is child's play.
