  1. Someone say a dog will help? How about this killer-
  2. I would definitely go after the threat since daughters room is upstairs and mine is down. Wife would be on phone with 911 with "her gun" while I get the girl. If she wasn't home that night, I'd probably still go after them.
  3. Sounds like "politics as usual" to me

    Well, Son of a B****

Let us know what you find out Joe. I sincerely hope it is something as innocent as training new people.....

    Well, Son of a B****

I'd be filling out one of these immediately http://www.tbi.state.tn.us/firearm_check/firearm_docs/tics_appeal_form.pdf Keep us posted.
  7. Yeah, especially with the loooooong wait time people have been experiencing that last couple of years. I'd not procrastinate and get the ball rolling as soon as possible. Welcome to Tennessee, the patron state of shooting stuff....

    My Sig 556

Nice and Evil looking . Shot it yet? Welcome to TGO.
  9. As far as bulk paks go, +1 on the Federal. I too seem to have the best luck with them, followed by Remington and Winchester last.
  10. Thanks for listening. That point alone makes you better than the others. :up:Either way on the Nashville/Chattanooga decision, if the date chosen fits within my calendar, count on me attending.
  11. Makes one wonder.......
  12. Well, it wouldn't let me run one on my 16 year old but I did get one on the wife. Thanks again. Explanation: According to your order form, you are not yet 18 years of age. Due to federal law, we cannot provide a minor with an online credit report.
  13. Thanks once again for all the input. I just got my free credit report from Equifax. I am assuming that by your statement above I should wait 4 months then get one from Trans Union, wait another 4 months then get one from Experian etc. When I get home, I'm going to run one on the wife and daughter as well.
  14. I always thought the same thing Dave. Couldn't the officer just say he smelled marijuana?
  15. Great thread guys. Thanks for all the info MacGyver. I currently have a free membership through my bank to a credit monitoring service and all it does is email me anytime an inquiry or change has been posted to my credit. I have often wondered if it is enough.
  16. You are not the first I've heard of loading magazines this way. Back in the early 90's a Friend who hated every round except a .45 talked me into loading my 9mm this way. I eventually stopped but It actually has some merit in my opinion. Kind of the best of both worlds I guess. I may go home and load both of my .380's this way (PPK & LCP).
  17. I've had good experiences shooting CCI's through both a Taurus PT92 and a Glock G34 with no problems cycling. Not real sure how effective they'd be against killing a snake but it would damn sure hurt one.
  18. Hex is right, here is the link Top Gun - Forbes.com
  19. Thanks for the update lowbud. It surprises me that the latest releases from the gun companies didn't included more small single stack 9's. Instead, they are trying to play catchup to the LCP. Ruger should have taken it up a notch and released an LCP 9mm or something to stay on the edge. This is a case where Taurus has taken the lead in my opinion, well after Keltec I guess.
  20. Even though the Rohrbaugh R380 was his winner with no malfunctions, I seem to recall one owned by a fellow TGO'er that developed some problems. Guess this makes them all less than 100% reliable .
  21. Be very careful, Sporting Clays is highly addictive........
  22. I voted "Detail strip it ya wimp" and think you should add pictures to prove you did.....
  23. Yes. Price your G27 right (search around the INTERNET) and the $25 will be well spent. Far better than you'd get through a gun or pawn shop. Dunno about the paint ball gun but hey, why not try.
  24. Cool. I really liked that "The ammunition is provided by the Government" for this day at the range. Think we could convince............. never mind.
  25. It's a little bit of a drive, but I highly recomend Gins & Leather in Greenbrier. Guns and Leather
